Located on 250 acres, Empty Pockets farm is a cattle and crop farm on mixed country from rolling hills to tree lined creek banks. Privacy is guaranteed with a number of spacious sites available along two seasonal creeks and one site overlooking rolling hills and distant mountains. As a working cattle farm there are often inquisitive calves around. There are tracks right around the property for walking and exploring. You may see some of the local wildlife which include Rat Kangaroos and possums (both nocturnal), tree goanna, wallabies, echidna and many bird species. Located only 30 minutes from the beautiful Bunya Mountains and Coomba Falls. Motocross Mountain is 8km away and we are 5km from the Yarraman Rail Trail which is popular for mountain bike riding. Plenty of options for exploring or just stay, relax and unwind. We are pet friendly however we ask that dogs are kept on a leash. Season produce from the farm may be available for purchase depending on the season. Firewood is free from designated locations. We request that guests leave a zero footprint which means you need be self sufficient with your own toilet/shower facilities and all waste and rubbish is taken with you on departure.

Oakford's Place
Great Easter weekend at Oakfords Pl
We had a wonderful weekend at Oakfords Place. Neil and Laura were fantastic hosts. I would highly recommend this property. There is a little bit of highway noise but it's not annoying. The campsites on this property are all very well spaced and you have your whole area to yourself. Thank you Neil and Laura for a wonderful weekend.

Campfire Chronicles
Loved our stay!
We spent a lovely few days at Laura and Neil’s beautiful farm and definitely recommend it. Due to it being quite wet in the week leading into our stay, our hosts were prepared to give us a couple of alternate sites if we weren’t keen to take our caravan down to the Creekside site we’d booked. Deciding to take the Valley Views site did not disappoint. The views were amazing and the peace and serenity of the farm was so therapeutic. We were treated to beautiful sunrises, sunsets and a star-filled sky from the elevated and flat Valley Views site. Perfect for us city-dwellers who rarely have such an uninterrupted view of nature’s beauty. There were other campers on the property but nobody nearby and it was like we were the only ones there. Thank you Laura and Empty Pockets farm.

Digger's Rest
Peaceful and private
We stayed on the Diggers Rest site. 'Rest' is a great word as it was very restful. The site is out of the way so extremely private and quiet, just insects and birds - lovely. The hosts are very welcoming, helpful, caring and accommodating. Recommend.

Oakford's Place
Very Peaceful and Relaxing Spot
We had a fantastic relaxing time at Empty Pockets Oakford's Place on the weekend. Laura and Neil were awesome hosts, and it was cool to have Annabelle come down on her bike to give us some complimentary stubby coolers. We really appreciated that :) The Oakford's Place is a beautiful little flat campsite carved out of the bush with plenty of space, a shelter if you don't want to unpack your Gazebo, a long drop toilet and a nice firepit. We were testing some new camping gear so we used our new Gazebo and toilet :) and although we did get some firewood, we were a bit tired and crashed out early without having a fire. While there was a little road noise from the nearby highway on occasion, it never disturbed us at all. The stars were also a definite highlight as well. Be aware that there is no Optus reception, at all, and only very very sporadic Telstra reception - which did not bother us one bit! We appreciated the silence! :) An added bonus is - The Yarraman Bakery is just down the road, where you can get some awesome pies! Thank you Laura, Neil and Annabelle! We will definitely be returning in the future :)
