A 9000 square metre property on Pumicestone road. 800 metres from the Bruce highway. Very close to the Big Fish complex. 2 campning sites on level gravel another 5 sites on mulch. ( need 4x4 if it rains.) Big compacted carpark for busses and long vehicles. No toilets or showers. Must be self contained. Fresh water on property to fill up tanks and containers. Supermarket, restaurants , petrol, and chemist 5 minutes away. 15 minutes to the pumicestone passage for boating and fishing. 30 minutes away fro.m Bribie Island . Big areas for kids to play, scooter or explore the bush. Free firewood and fire pits provided on all sitesOur property is located in Caboolture and has a number of sites available to meet your needs. We have a number of smaller bush sites and some larger sites on asphalt which are perfect for motorhomes and still surrounded by nature and bush. We have fire pits available for you to use and you are welcome to use the firewood from the property but please take only from designated areas. Check with host prior to arrival to ensure there is enough firewood available. We are close to the local pub which is a great spot to enjoy a meal and are within easy access of a number of other restaurants and cafes. The supermarket is 5km away and has all you will need to enjoy your stay with us. Bribie Island is around a 30km drive away where you can enjoy all the stunning beaches and water activities on offer. We are a 20 minute drive from the beautiful Glass House Mountains which is a great place to hike and explore. Campers must be fully self contained and bring their own toilet and take all waste with them. There is a dumping point nearby.  Unfortunately as we have no fencing we cannot allow pets at this time. 5 km from Abbey festival

Cottrells on Pumicestone
Unfortunately the site was not as described in the pictures. The gravel area is relatively flat and whilst it does have a lovely fire pit, the broken van with a smashed window was very off-putting. There was a lot of rubbish and glass around the gravel site which we were placed. We picked this up! I’m not sure where the large grass area is, because that was on a neighbouring property. At the front entrance to the property there is a large pile of what appears to be rubbish. I think this may be a “recycling area”, but there’s so much of it and a broken car next to it, making it look more like a salvage yard than a recycling area. We gave it one night and left the next morning. Sorry I can’t recommend this place.
