IMPORTANT: please read all info before booking. **Must be TOTALLY self-sufficient INCLUDING TOILET and leave no trace.** Pronounced 'Di-ham-la', welcome to our 17 acres on the outskirts of beautiful Hervey Bay. 3 min drive to the beautiful Dundowran Beach, 23 min drive to barge landing for access to Fraser Island. It's a gently sloping block, so levellers will be needed.  Firewood available to purchase. Children 10 years and younger are free - Children 11 years and older are counted as a guest when booking" Camp Dihamlla is a convenient spot to camp whilst exploring the area. Some traffic noise can be expected as we are close to local traffic. We welcome families and their furry pets, but dogs to be kept on a lead at all times as we have horses.  Access for all vehicles, from 2WD to large caravans. NB: Max. height is 3.1 meters. At the moment we are only offering non powered sites with NO toilet facilities. Nearest dump point is 9.4 km away at info center going into Hervey Bay. Campfires are permitted in designated areas, provided fire restrictions are not in place.

    Nice spot beside the little dam.
    Very peaceful and relaxing. The nearby road was not a bother at all. Very quiet at night. Dianne & Graeme are lovely

    A quiet and very convenient spot from which to explore Hervey Bay and the surrounding area. Wonderful, friendly hosts who made us feel very welcome. Would definitely recommend!!

    Lovely stay on a farm paddock
    Lovely little spot that we had all to ourselves. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming. We even got some fresh cherry tomatoes. Would recommend it to everyone who loves secluded spots in the nature. Make sure to bring levelling chocks as ground is on a slight angle. Also be aware that there is a road nearby. Since it’s a very remote place there’s only a few cars coming by though. Thank you for having us!

    Very convenient location
    Lovely private spot by the dam. Slightly sloping land so Please remember your chocks. Quite close to the road, but the traffic is extremely light, pretty much non existent overnight. Super close to Hervey Bay, awesome, super friendly hosts.
