This Hipcamp took us by surprise! We had an amazing stay and got to spend time with the hosts Susan and Dan. The site has everything you could need for camping. Just come with food, clothes and a sense of adventure!

We stayed in their Skoolie however, we got to take advantage of all the camp amenities. The communal kitchen is a great space, we especially liked how it felt as if you are still outside, with netted walls and a clear vinyl roof. With a sink, stove, tabletops, coolers, utensils, and even condiments — this kitchen had everything you would need to make a good camp meal. It also serves as a great space to be protected from rain.

The river flowing through the property really makes this place special. With a private dock, it's the perfect place to soak up the sun. We rented the Kayaks and Dan took us on a 2-hour adventure down the river. A peaceful yet adventurous activity with a couple of portages. We highly recommend you do this while at the stay!

The Skoolie itself was very cozy and comfortable. It got a little chilly outside but the little yet powerful wood cube stove inside kept us nice and warm. Their addition of remote-powered lights allowed us to read or play scrabble in the evenings The bed was comfortable and there was plenty of storage space for our personal bags.

Susan and Dan really did a great job in making us feel welcome and we had a great time. We highly recommend you check out this wonderful place!

outdoor shower, with hot water! Floating dock in the river that runs along the back of the propertyA serine setting to brush your teeth The counter made for a good workstation, or the perfect place to play some board games!

Andrew and Brodie were terrific guests, with lots of great stories of their travels. They kayaked our beaver-dam filled river with ease and evident enjoyment, and we were so happy that they finally got their wish to see a real-live beaver on the last day!
