Hans is a Star Host
Star Hosts are highly rated, responsive, and committed to providing incredible experiences.
Once known as the Middaugh Farm , this property produced Corn, Buckwheat, Pigs, Chickens, and White Clay.  Forced to sell off a northern 70 acre Tract, which is now off the Tax Roles and held by the DOI,  and other non contiguous properties to help maintain the remaining 268 acres, The streams host turtles, crayfish and minnoes.   Deer , Rabbits, Squirrels, Foxes, Chipmunks, Coyotes (not the immigration kind, ) and the occasional Black Bear occupy the area. Named after my Father, who passed October 09 2017.  It is my goal to keep the property undeveloped, and ON the tax rolls through funding via access to members who enjoy the Dwindling Great Outdoors.  I hope to keep this in the family for a few more generations, while sharing the beauty and abundance of nature with others who have little opportunity to experience what I have, growing up in Rural America.Drive right in to the 20 acre field to set up camp, and enjoy over 200 acres of little streams and glacial boulders.  Woods roads and stone rows abound at the foot of the nothern slope of the Kittatinny mountain, just below the Appalachian Trail.

Large space available so the campsites are not on top of each other. Peaceful, quiet area. Plenty of deadfall wood in surrounding area.

Nice Meadow to Camp In
Beautiful place to camp! The spot was pretty easy to find with traffic cones that Hans put out. No picnic table or fire grate at site #4 so just keep that in mind when you’re coming. Found plenty of wood from the surrounding woods even though it had rained the night before. Was just a little pricey when we booked just a week from when we went. Signal worked with AT&T. Would definitely come back overall at a lower price, next time perhaps with a big group (since it’s spacious and pretty quiet).

Wonderful at Willie’s!
My partner and I found this hidden gem on a whirl and we are soooo happy we did! Hans has a beautiful piece of property with a few sites (no one was there while we were) that are perfect for small tents and even bigger campers. The site looked exactly as it was advertised and as it did in the pictures and we were just so happy we had such a big space to throw the frisbee around! The woods were full of deadfall so it made building our fire very easy. Our car was level and our roof tent was able to be used without any blocks which was awesome! Directions to the site were a little confusing but I reached out to Hans and he responded instantly with help and was able to smooth out any confusion. He did provide us with firewood, but it had rained the night before so we brought our own! The portapotty on site was filled with wasp looking things (ya know, nature), so we just had to hold our business until we left but that was a personal choice lol. Site was located close to the Delaware Water Gap and only about a 45ish minute drive from Jim Thorpe. All things considered, this spot really is a little (big) hidden gem and we highly, highly recommend.

It was perfect for an overnight stop! Very pretty open field. The stars was an added bonus. His mom was so sweet to come out and check on us when we arrived to make sure we were good. What a sweetheart!
