If you stayed here and have some insider info for us, let us know!
I stayed at the lower barn area and got to see the newborn twin goats, some pigs, chickens and a cow with its best friend goat. Sadly it rained much so there wasn’t much exploring of the farm. I would bring boots as a “just in case”.
Mendi and her mom were so friendly. And fresh eggs were a welcome addition to breakfast. Thanks for a fun couple of days!
Beautiful spot with a great sunset and night sky. We were there for 1 night and really appreciated the included firewood and the space to set up our 4 tents. Some horses shared the area with us but they pretty much left us alone.
Experience something different.
Mendi was a fabulous down to earth host. Very helpful and always available and gave us our privacy. If you stay by the livestock barn you will bond with the animals. Play a song for the cow and he will give you loving stares. Enjoyed sharing the full moon with the goat "singing". You you want to see pigs romping in the field this is the place. Sunset up on the hill with horses is heaven. The wood supplied for the campfire was a nice touch.
Mendi was so kind and flexible, and made an excellent first Hipcamping host! We enjoyed our stay and the all the friendly animals made wonderful co-guests and entertainment. Only wish we could have stayed longer!
It was a perfect weekend very relaxing and had plenty of visitors from all the farm animals Mendi and her mother were great very friendly and personable we will definitely be back again
Hurricane Ida may have ruined our original plans but the first stop on our impromptu road trip really helped us to get over our depression quickly. An escape from the craziness that is Philadelphia and some quiet time was something we all didn’t know we needed. For starters Mendi is amazing. She made us feel very welcomed and comfortable. Her mother is the sweetest woman who made sure we didn’t go hungry with tasty fresh eggs in the morning. The animals we all adorable and very friendly. The highlight of our two night stay was catching a beautiful sunset while in a field with horses. This was the first sunset I really got to see ( the city doesn’t provide a decent view) and I will never forget it. Thank you so much to all of you!!!!! 10/10
