A taste of the pennsylvania country
We enjoyed our evening in the country. Beautifully maintained with large fire pit and log stump stools. We enjoyed a fire under the stars and woke to a rooster.
A couple notes: the gravel parking lot is about 100ft NORTH of the family driveway (we arrived in the dark and drove right past it).
Also, because we pulled a trailer we didn't drive further into the Christmas Tree field, but stayed in the parking lot. Porta potty is right there. Scott (owner) felt we could have driven down and been able to turn around further into the field...we were already disconnected and didn't check that out.
There is a mild smell of horses. Just an FYI. Overall had a nice experience.
Peaceful, private site in the trees
Our Hip Camp site at Miller’s Christmas
Tree Farm was an ideal spot for privacy. We were nestled between the Christmas trees and the corn field with a gorgeous view of the valley in the distance. Scott and his wife were welcoming and eager to help make our stay pleasant. The only downside to this area is the gunfire we heard from the nearby shooting range. This was startling at first and something we are not used to, but certainly something the host has no control over. We will definitely stay here again.
Great place not far from hershey
Scott was an excellent host. He greeted us immediately upon arrival and was able to find the perfect path through his farm for my 26’ trailer to the camp site. He offered a port-a-john and the use of the water outside of his house. The farm is less than 30 min from Hershey so it was very convenient!
A getaway to remember!
We stay on the farm was fantastic. Scott was an awesome host, he met us when we arrived. He walked my husband around the tree farm to show him the space, he was very kind & thorough. The site we had was absolutely beautiful, the sunset & sunrise were simply spectacular! The stars at night were so amazing to see. All of the kids had a blast as well! We will definitely be back!!
A sight for sore eyes
Driving to this farm at night was a lil tricky not gonna lie! But thats bc im not used to rural areas at all. Once there, I was greeted and escorted to my spot and when the sun came up I was treated to a truly breathtaking landscape. Just gorgeous!!!!
