Description

Cool, calm and collected, Wildcat Campground and Day Use Area offers refuge from intense heat during endless summers. There are 17 sites with room for vehicles and tent camping, but don’t roll the dice on vehicles longer than 20 feet as maneuvering will get tricky. Each campsite has a fire pit and grill, picnic tables, drinking water and access to four shared vault toilets. Camp is ever so close to Mill Creek Wilderness which offers hiking and the opportunity to take a gander at some unique wildlife species like the pileated woodpecker. Check the camp website for alerts and advisories.

Have camped here many times. Small, intimate, and beautiful. Hope to keep it that way. Beware of cougars and bears. They rule the roost out there on occassion.
