We have a small area in our Alpaca pasture designated for campers. We are a short drive (2miles) to down town Hermiston. It is a grass field that will be mowed for visitors. Our ranch has been here since the 1940's and has decreased in size since its days as a potato farm. The Alpacas are shy but curious. They are not dangerous but do not like dogs and other small animals. R

Quick and easy
We were on a long road trip with children and needed a place to camp for the night. We unfortunately got in later than expected but the hosts were awake and helped us get situated. Very friendly. Although it was dark and we left early the kids liked seeing the animals. Hope to return during daylight sometime.
I was really grateful that I found some availability over a busy Labor Day weekend. Jennifer was wonderful, and the alpacas and goats are delightful! It was a nice grassy field and felt very private. It was a little closer to town than I expected so there was a busy road nearby, but other than that it was a beautiful stay and gracious host.
Loved camping with the critters!
Great spot to spend the night on our way to Hood River. The alpacas and goats were adorable and the pasture shaded and nice. We left with fresh eggs and fertilizer tea for our flower garden at home compliments of our hosts. Jennifer and Eric were welcoming and very helpful when we had an issue with our hot water heater. The nearby Riverside Park was a great place to walk the dog.
Unique stay to see any farm animals
Jennifer and Eric went out of their way to give us an incredible experience. They have many alpacas, goats, chickens and ducks that they introduce d is to and let us feed and pet. We even got to milk a goat! Their property was very nice and was exactly what we needed on our long road trip. We will visit again!
Would definitely reccomend this spot! Traveling alone as two young women can be a bit scary but we felt very safe and welcomed here. Eric was very friendly and happy to show us all the animals. It was so nice to wake up next to alpacas and other furry friends!
Great little farm, good for kids
We thought this was a great place to stay. Our three year old loved sleeping right by the alpaca pasture. The owners were great with the kids and brought an alpaca pot for them to pet. It was a nice, safe, pretty quiet location and probably our favorite Hipcamp thus far. We grabbed some eggs and peaches on the way out from the little fridge on the road which was convenient. Overall we’d recommend it and would stay again.
