If you stayed here and have some insider info for us, let us know!
Such a great and enjoyable experience I must say. The tent was warm and toasty, and the outdoor space was great for a campfire. Timberline is just down the road to shred your board or skis but if you prefer to hang out at the campground there is mountain biking and plenty of skatepark to go around. Highly recommend staying here. The host was super cool and willing to show you around. Will definitely be staying here again 🤟🏼
I was greeted at the gate and felt welcome from the start. The place is top-notch and a must stay if you're in the area. The tents were well equipped for the cold weather and for a good nights res
Only come for the glamping
Overall, this is wonderful if you are coming for just the Glamping experience. We came here with the intent to use the extra recreational areas and found the time frames they were available to us, to be quite unrealistic. 5 to 6 am on the weekend isn’t ideal and doesn’t allow for enough time even if we managed to get up that early.
The tents were nicely put together, there were extras that made it that much more enjoyable if you wanted to stay in the campground. There is power and wifi available, bathrooms with showers and hot water, and space heaters (with a fireplace effect) in the tents for the cold nights.
The camp host meets you at the gate and provides all the info needed.
Staying in the tent at Action Sports was perfect after a day of hiking in Mt. Hood. The space was comfortable, clean, and the added amenities like heater, lamp with outlets, and towels were great additions. There was a slight miscommunication about the bed setup, but Mikey took care of it right away. Only recommendations would be some kind of shelf in the shower and lights off at 10. Otherwise a very comfortable stay and it was nice being able to have the pup with us too.
Epic family camping spot
We had a blast at this site. The glamping tent (we had #8) was super comfortable, with nice beds, blankets, a fan, and towels for showing. The best part of this experience was having access to the skateparks (indoor and outdoor) and indoor trampolines. I think this was the first trip we’ve ever taken where I didn’t hear my kids say “I’m bored”. So much to do on site, plus a great location for exploring the Mt Hood area.
True glamping experience!
We loved this camping spot! Kevin was a great host - he greeted us and showed us our tent and offered ice (there’s an ice box for each tent site). This is a true glamping experience with comfy beds and spotless restrooms/shower rooms (there are two bathrooms with shower booth inside). We stayed for two nights - first night, we were the only ones on tent sites, and had other parties on the second night. Kevin has a dog and a cat and both are super chill and friendly (first we thought there were lost by some other guests lol). If we travel Mt.Hood again, we will definitely come back here!
This is such an amazing place! It was truly a great glamping experience with the added bonus of having an entire skatepark and mtb park in your backyard. 10/10 recommend and will be back!
