Thanks Action Sports Adventure Rig Sites! This was perfect for my stay, I appreciated the quiet and convenient location close to my weekend skiing and mountain biking plans and electrical connection. Beyond a nice, clean, safe place to overnight. And the bathrooms were super clean... and heated! I will be back for sure!

Waited til the last minute to find a spot near Mt Hood and this was basically the only option we could find. We reserved a $40 "Rig Site". We arrived and met the host at the gate. This is a skate/snowboard school and the grounds are meant for such purposes. The "rig sites" were near the back corner of the property and gated to separate the cars/RVs from the park. The spot was literally a parking spot- we could comfortably open both sides of the car without hitting others, but that was the extent of the space. It felt like they had some spare space and decided to generate some revenue off of it. Nearly every car spot was taken but there were not many people on the grounds of the park. We had our dogs with us, and I mistakenly (didn't think it was a big deal) brought my dog into the single stall with me while I washed my hands. When we made it back to our car spot, we were met by someone telling us in a surly manner, that dogs were not allowed in the bathrooms. You are greeted with a laundry list of rules and kept in a parking lot portioned by a massive fence that is to be closed at all times. This is not the camping experience we were looking for and ended up leaving 30 min after our arrival.

First, I was camping during an event so this was probably not a typical experience. I was greeted at the gate by the person that showed me to my camp spot for the next few days. This person handed me a wristband for the event and told me to call/text if I had any questions and then he took off and I did not see him for the remainder of my stay. I did have to reach out for instructions on how to access the showers which were not clearly marked. Also, I was not aware that the camp spot was behind 2 gates: 1 gate to get into the facility and another gate to get into the camping area. The gate to get into the facility was chained and padlocked and the gate to the camping area was shut 90% of the way to only allow pedestrians in or out. Again, there was no clear indicator on how to open at least the gate to the camping area so I had to reach out again. I received no response and ended up walking 2 miles down a busy highway to the nearest convenience store for some food and walking 2 miles back. I figured out how to open the camping area gate the following morning and I was able to park my car in a different parking area without gates. Later that day, I found a vehicle parked in my camp spot with the occupants setting up their tent. I received no communication whatsoever that my spot had been given away despite my very visible orange tent still being set up. I decided to pack up and check out early. I have requested a refund.
