White Wolf Acres

A very peaceful, pretty, idyllic location. It’s nicely rustic with the most gorgeous shaggy highland cow and a friendly but unobtrusive white doggie, Emily. Jacob and Andreya are the perfect hosts.

I’ll confess that I didn’t actually camp on the campsite but stayed in the new little cabin (bunkie) on the other side of the pond. Jacob and Andreya invited me to stay in the bunkie when they heard there was a threat of another thunderstorm and tornado overnight. I happily accepted their kind offer.

But I checked out the campsite before switching to the bunkie. It’s a great spot.

Lots of good backroad cycling in the area. Cell service was solid and reliable.

Great site! Lots of room to set up camp. Great fire pit setup. The neighbouring bunking is within view but still plenty far away for your own privacy.

My brother and I had a great time camping at White Wolf acres, it's a very beautiful place and nice that there is only 1 spot so you have it all to yourselves. We will definitely be rebooking with Jacob and family in the future. Thanks for your hospitality and kindness Jacob, it was a joy and so relaxing.

Jacob and Andrea's property is beautiful and very peaceful. The White Wolf (aka Emily) watched over us, dropping by for a friendly visit a couple of times each day. Jacob and Andrea are the epitome of excellent hosts and it was great to get to know them during our stay. We arrived and got set up minutes before the 'big storm' went through, taking out trees and power. In the midst of it, Jacob came down make sure we were ok. This, like their whole approach to hosting, made our stay and absolute pleasure. The setting is beautiful, the pond and forest full of life. We will definitely be back!

I will preface this review by saying, I'm sure some must be getting desensitized by all my comments....so I will try to keep it short.
The beauty and magic of this place is, ABSOLUTELY PERFECT, what a wonderful experience coming here is.
The property is so clean and natural, it is,
ABSOLUTELY PERFECT.
The resident animals , the two wonderful friendly dogs, the cat, and one of my favorite addition's...Jerry the cow..( lol, love that cow), they are ABSOLUTELY PERFECT.
And more importantly, the host's, and their wonderful boys.
Can not say enough in regards to their kindness and hospitality..true professionals, they are without a doubt, ABSOLUTELY PERFECT.

We really enjoyed camping on Jacob’s land. The location was peaceful and had a pretty pond nearby. Jacob brought us firewood and water ( as we didn’t bring enough and it was a scorcher !) Being newish campers ( from the city ) we were not prepared for the black flies - they were pretty intense but Jacob assured us that May is the worst black fly month and we were also unlucky to have such high heat and humidity in early May. All in all we loved our stay and recommend it for anyone looking for a safe, welcoming campsite and host family-

I absolutely loved staying at White Wolf Acres. Jacob and his family have created a truly welcoming space. I felt right at home surrounded by beautiful nature and the peace and quiet. White Wolf is a true gem. Highly recommended for both group and solo camping (I camped alone and felt safe venturing in the woods alone). I will definitely be back next time I am in the area.

We planned a girls weekend to relax we were so happy to be at Jacob and Andrea's place. When we arrived we found the trailer was a bit too big for the space, our hosts were so kind and accommodated us. Great time had by all and would highly recommend :)

Jacob and his family was very welcoming, with a super friendly dog, Emily. He was accommodating and gave me lots of freedom and privacy. The property is beautiful and the campsite was comfortable. Definitely worth a visit.
