Super host & splendid time!
What a fantastic place to stay! Pedro is the ultimate host! So accommodating and eager to share his love of animals and the outdoors with all! This place is perfect for animal lovers looking to pet some dogs or cats (and even see chickens and bunnies)! The accommodation has everything: a fridge, outdoor bathroom and fire pit! The location is also perfect for visiting the Saugeen river and Lake Huron! Highly recommend this place! Thank you Pedro for a wonderful time! Hope to be back soon!
Not as described
We booked a site for our campervan. When we arrived there was really no place to park the van.
Pedro said we could stay in the "cabin". The cabin was a shed with bunk beds and not much else. We declined the cabin.
We asked if we could cancel the booking and get a refund Pedro agreed.
⭐⭐⭐⭐ exceptional hospitality
We had a lovely time at Greenisland! Would definitely recommend-- a great 'glamping' experience! My fiancé and I pitched a tent with our pup Odi, enjoyed some BBQ and a fire (both provided). There is an outdoor washroom (bring your own TP, handsoap and PT), a fire pit with chairs, a tree swing and even chickens in the back! Pedro and his family are wonderful, my dog got some play time in with their dogs. The entire lot is well lit, and you have the option to turn off the lights when its bedtime. Check-in and check-out time is whenever, which is a plus! Internet and even a projector is provided, in the event you want to watch a movie on a bed sheet strung across two trees. Next summer hopefully the hot tub will be up and running, in which cast we will be upgrading to the shed (air b&b style). Do remembered to bring a tie out if your dog is not good off leash, there is a busy road right next to the property and it is not fenced in all the way. !!Not a party place!! Just want to stress this point. Super quiet and quaint, more of a relaxing and intimate setting, not for the wild at play.
Nothing less than awesome
It was awesome and memorable outing for us. 7 of us were comfortable in trailer. We had lot of fun with all the pets around in Pedro’s premises. He also helped us exploring nearby places else we would have gone to crowded place at Sobael beach and spent money on Parking. Pedro is super host I must say and if you are first come camper you should go to this place with closed eyes. He will take care of you like his family members. We will visit again in next season for sure
My partner and I had a nice stay in the bunkie on Pedro's property. The bunkbeds were pretty comfortable and the bunkie itself was clean, if a bit tight on space due to a large fridge in one corner. We didn't spend much time enjoying the property, but a family that was also staying there seemed to really love the firepit and outdoor projector/screen. Pedro was also super communicative and helpful with all our needs.
The highlight of our trip
The highlight of our trip. Absolutely gorgeous.
We were simply in the backyard of Pedros place. But him and his friends were crazy welcoming and heavenly nice with us.
They let us leave our stuff in the fridge, we watched a movie with the video projector right in the backyard, ee had a shower as well. Everything was perfect. And Pedro is simply the best host we met ❤️
Not a cabin.
I feel deceived about this reservation because it is advertised as a cabin. When I arrived I was directed by Pedro by telephone to choose a campsite. (Luckily I had my tent with me) The campsite was nice enough, but if I had known I was paying for a campsite and not a cabin, I probably would have reserved elsewhere.
