The cabins are designed for campers and nature lovers who are comfortable without the comforts of modern life.

We want our guests to remember their deep connection with nature, breathe fresh air, feel your feet against the Earth, dig you hands into the dirt. We know from experience that aligning our lifestyle with the cycles of nature has allowed us to thrive, deepened our spiritual connection, and strengthened our confidence and trust in our own intuition. Science has also shown that spending just two nights in the forest can boost your immune system for up to 30 days. There is so much magic out here among the trees.

Our 22-acre forest hosts just five custom-designed cabins nestled among our tall trees, offering you plenty of privacy and space to roam.

Please be advised that we are not a hotel. All of our rooms are very basic and rustic. None of the cabins have their own bathroom. The only source of heat in the cabins is the wood stove. It is the guest’s responsibility to start and maintain the fire in the wood stove during the stay.

No Smoking Policy: We do not permit smoking anywhere on our property.

No Pet Policy: While we love animals, we have a firm no pet policy. Due to the nature of our location, pets draw in some of the bigger wild animals that live in our forest and can pose a risk to your pets and other guests. So please find a comfy place for your pets to stay before booking with us.

There are three magical 11′ x 11′ cabins nestled in the woods that have a private covered deck and feature two single beds or a king bed. Each is outfitted with a large French door and two windows that allow you to enjoy the natural views and fresh breeze all year long. This is the perfect suite for couples or friends to enjoy.

What’s Included:- 1 King Bed (Or 2 single beds upon request)- Large sweeping windows for forest views and cool breezes- Covered deck with 2 chairs for lounging- Woodstove (This is the only heat source in the cabin)- 2 small end tables- Luggage rack- Overhead LED lighting- Picnic Table- Private fire pit for roasting marshmallows- Free Parking

What’s NOT Included:

- Bedding & Pillows (Bring your own or purchase a rental package) - Meals - Kitchen or cooking appliances (Please bring a camp stove or grill if you wish to cook onsite)- Private bathroom (There are shared bathrooms & showers in the main building – a short 1-2 minute walk from the cabin) - Interior chairs or seating area - No electrical outlets, no wifi, no tv - Wood (Guest may purchase wood onsite at $5/box. Guests typically use 1-3 boxes per night depending on outside temperatures). - Fire Fairy to start and stoke your fire all night (Guests are responsible for starting and maintaining the woodstove. If you are uncomfortable maintaining a fire we don’t recommend visiting us during winter months as you will be very cold without a fire). - Ice (Please purchase in town before arrival)

Throw the cell phones away and let laughter and adventure fill your days! The Family Soul Package is designed to keep your family engaged together and with the natural world around them. This package includes two of our unique Foraged Forest Craft Kits. Each kit requires you to head out into the forest to collect sticks, twigs, leaves, and other natural items in order to complete your project. Learn how to make a gratitude offering to the forest in exchange for the natural treasures and develop a deeper relationship with the forest elemental beings. Then head back to your cabin to begin to work on your project. We’ll include enough supplies in each kit to prepare 4 items so you don’t have to worry about the kids fighting! (We are parents too…we know how that goes!). If you have a competitive or curious family you will want to try your hand at our Forest Scavenger Hunt. Each family member will be given a card with a series of items they must find, make, or create in the forest. The first one to find them all wins! We also like giving bonus points for the most creative! Remember when you were a kid and you’d spend the late afternoons relaxing with an old-fashioned game of hangman? We’re going to include a new updated version that combines the fun of scratching with the challenge of hangman. This outdoors-themed hangman game is fun to play wherever you are and a great way to keep your brains active! Most weeks our family is also active working with the land and playing with the forest elementals. You are welcome to join us during our stay in some of our scheduled activities to learn about life at The Soul Institute. Some days we may be working in the garden, foraging for wild teas, or playing our drums to awaken the forest spirits. Check out our schedule when you arrive! No family campout is complete without roasting marshmallows! You will wow your whole family with a marshmallows s’mores kit. Simply pack your cones with chocolate chips, marshmallows, and candy then warm them over the fire for a treat you surely won’t want to miss!

Experience of new way of being deeply relaxed and connected in the forest. In this guided walk our family will guide you on a slow walk through nature. We will point out some of the native plants we use, show you how to slow down and observe different aspects of nature, and learn how to find answers to the world among the trees. During the walk we will give you a basket and encourage you to collect items from the forest that catch your eye. At the end of the walk we will guide you through the process of creating a nature mandala with your findings. Suitable for all ages. Guests must feel comfortable walking outdoors. Closed toe shoes, long pants, and long sleeves are recommended.
