RiverView private campsite

This is your cozy little campsite in the woods. Perfect for one or two people to get away for the weekend or the whole week. You deserve it! It is a private, with a moss-covered spot for your tent and is just steps away from the river. This spot is nice and cool in the summer. 

All of our sites are walk-in tent only sites, which keeps the sites quiet and our property natural. We are happy to help you bring your gear to the site with our little lawntractor trailer. 

RiverView has a fire pit, some comfy seating and a private outhouse. 

All of our sites are private sites where you won't see your neighbours unless you go for a wander.

We are very close to Baird Trail which is a beautiful walking trail and great for Geocaching fun. Purdon Conservation Area is 10 minutes away and has incredible boardwalks and forests for hiking. It is famous for its wild orchids. Blueberry Mountain is about 25 minutes away and is a fantastic hike with mountain top views and Blueberries! In the area we have Mississippi Mills berry picking, Balderson Cheese Factory and more history than you can shake a stick at. We are just off of HWy 511 which will take you to downtown historic Perth, Calabogie peaks, Burnstown, Almonte and Carleton Place. We have two small villages within 5 minutes that boast their own country grocers.
