Lovely location, beautiful lake, amazing sauna! Would love to come back.
My girlfriend and I spent the Labour Day long weekend at the Pine Falls Lodge, staying in the Glamping Tent right on the water. We didn't really know what to expect, not only from the lodge and glamping experience, but from our first real vacation together. We stayed four days and three nights there. And I am thrilled to share that we had an amazing time in every regard! First off, the hosts -- Patrick, Amy, and Kristin -- were PHENOMENAL. So friendly, so helpful, so down-to-earth. It felt like we were staying with friends at a resort. The tend and amenities were incredibly clean, well-maintained, and a lavish (for a glamping experience an hour north of Sudbury ;0 ). I highly recommend the Lodge and this tent experience. 4/4 stars!
PS -- there are many more vacations in our future, hopefully some more at the Pine Falls Lodge!

Me and my girlfriend had a wonderful stay at Patrick’s campsite that is available for rent. He helped out when me and my girlfriend needed it, such as providing us with extra charcoal and a cooking stove to use. I recommend any camper, especially ones that are newer to rent a stay from Patrick.
Fellow glampers, this place is not to be missed! The description posted on Hipcamp really doesn't do the location justice. This space is an amazing location for first time glampers who are looking to ease their way into a full camping experience. The hosts, Patrick, Amy, and Kristen are onsite and are more than happy to help maximize your experience in any way they can.
For first time campers, you'll be at ease knowing that if you forget anything at all, Patrick, Amy, and Kristen will totally be there with a helping hand. Didn't pack a gas stove? No problem, you can borrow their BBQ. Forgot some spices? No issues, they have a garden on property and encouraged us to pick some fresh garlic scapes to add to our meals. Need a motorized boat to take you into the Murray lake to go fishing? They have all the equipment ready as well and are more than happy to help you with your experience. Forgot to pack hiking shoes? They have extra gear if you'd like to take a hike and explore the crown lands around you.
You can really tell that the family has put a lot of hard work and love into renovating and upgrading the property since they bought the location 3 years ago. During our stay, the main Lodge was still under renovation, but that hasn't stopped Patrick and his family from implementing additional amenities to the site to ensure your stay is as positive and relaxing as possible. Located at the bottom of the lodge, there is a partially open (only at the head area) shower with hot water supplied via the lodge's plumbing that can be used freely by the guests on site. The partial opening faces East towards the Murray lake, allowing you uninterrupted access to the lake while taking an 'outdoor' shower.
Furthermore, there is an on-site sauna that is stoked at 5/6 PM by the hosts with two hot tubs under construction near the lake. Like the shower, this sauna was thoughtfully constructed with open window access to the waterfront.
As the only tent on the campsite, we had a dedicated access to a very well maintained and clean outhouse located to the side of the property. At first we were worried that the outhouse was to be used by all guests on the property including the cabin guests, but we found out during our stay that the cabins were equipped with their own flushing toilets so the outhouse was literally only used by guests who stay at the tent. Minimal odours and super clean - the flowers in the outhouse were a great and welcoming touch as well.
Patrick grew up in the area and you can really see how much he loves the area. His enthusiasm and joy is infectious and it's really REALLY hard to not want to stay here longer and try out all the trails, see all the waterfalls, and try all the portage routes that he shares with you.
We only stayed for the minimum 2 nights and wished we extended our stay for longer so that we could go and explore the neighboring trails some more. Our days were already packed with stand up paddle boarding, enjoying the sauna, playing with their dog and enjoying the space that it left little time to explore past the property. (They have canoes and kayaks on ground as well for the guests to use freely).
I'd highly recommend considering to stay in this location for more than the minimum stays if you're looking to spend time exploring more than just the property's ground.

The place is located behind the main building, safe spot for new campers.
Patrick and Amy are awesome hosts, they showed us around, were always there if we needed anything.
We highly recommend if you want to get away from city and enjoy the nature.
