This secluded campsite is absolutely beautiful. It is the antidote to crowded parking lot style RV parks. It is sitting on the Canadian river bank. We saw lots of water birds, and a herd of 7 deer wandered through camp each day. It is very peaceful. David's land is big enough that you can do lots of exploring and walking of your dogs. There was solid Verizon 5g that let us stream HD TV. After 2 days and nights of isolation and quiet, we were fully unplugged and rested. David's land is a relatively short drive North of I-40. We planned on going the short drive into Elreno for Swadlys BBQ but ended up passing that up to stay in beautiful seclusion. When you turn in to David's land the road is fairly primative but passable even in low sitting sedans. We hauled in a 27' travel trailer. Tree brush did drag down the side but we don't care about the light scuffing. The campground is brushhogged pretty well but be prepared for stickers, a small price to pay for seclusion and wildlife viewing. David was super friendly, helpful, and happy to see us enjoying his place. If you are not afraid of real camping in the woods, and you are looking for quiet seclusion, a place to relax and unplug, then David's Land is for you! We will definitely be back again!

A nice, quiet stop over on my west. Host was really great about giving me directions on the phone. I needed that rest and quiet before I headed back on the road.
