Our stay here was fantastic as always. Amazing campsite, beautiful areas to explore and the cinnamon rolls are delicious! There was also a little table at camp this time which made for a great addition. The firewood is always of excellent quality as well. Can’t beat it.
We had a great time camping here. The hosts were very responsive, and the space was great. Also, fyi, the cinnamon rolls are amazing! I hate cinnamon, but my partner got one and he told me I needed to try it because it was that good; did not disappoint. So from a cinnamon-hater and a cinnamon-lover, get the cinnamon rolls! 😂
We had a big group of us stay at site #2. We had 10 people and had enough space. It was so beautiful. We loved that our site was surrounded by trees and wasn't far from the pavilion and the bathroom. It felt pretty peaceful and didn't feel that we were surrounded by other campers. The hosts were very helpful and made us feel welcome. The wagons for bringing supplies to our site was so helpful!! It would have been a lot of trips without the wagons.
The only thing that was not amazing, was the walnuts falling from the trees. This is probably only a problem for 1 or 2 weekends in the whole year, and this would not prevent me from booking this place again!
It rained on our last morning, so we used the pavilion for breakfast, which was so helpful.
We also got the cinnamon rolls! Yummy!!!
Again, thank you for the stay. I would for sure come back to this place again!
My favorite camping site in ohio
I can't say enough how beautiful the site is and how is secluded and huge the sites are. We love coming here every year. So many amenities with bathrooms, pavilion and play area, trails, games... we always have a blast. This is truly an Ohio gem! Sheila is amazing to work with.
Peaceful, relaxing time with kids
Great camping spot for kids and adults, but kids especially given the farm animals to see and shelter/playground area. There's also short hiking trails on the property that are perfect for the kids. Love this hidden gem!
Order the cinnamon rolls!
We stayed in Walnut Grove for the second year in a row. It felt wonderful to be back! The hosts were helpful, and kind, and the goats celebrated our arrival. The facilities were clean and exactly as described. Order the cinnamon rolls, they are a perfect treat!
