If you stayed here and have some insider info for us, let us know!
We loved our stay at Grins & Pickin's CampFarm- Lookout! We came to town for a National Shooting competition held at The Cardinal Shooting Center. I feel we were lucky to find the farm as it was so close to the range and other camping spots or reasonably priced lodging was completely booked 6 months before the event.
Christy (our host) was very quick to respond to any messages before or during our stay. When our travel plans changed en route due to weather she was more than happy to be flexible with our visit.
The apartment (the Lookout) was simple, yet homey. We had enough room for the family to relax and sleep comfortably. The kitchen, bathroom and bedrooms were stocked with all the necessary items required to "live" there for a week. The kids love the bunk beds, said they were very comfortable. The master/parents room was large with lots of closet space, the bed was a little stiff, but that is just my preference and I still slept well.
The farm itself is large and beautiful. Lots of room to wonder and run. The weather was wet and rainy so we were not able to take full advantage but we enjoyed ourselves none the less. I told Christy we would definitely be back when we come to nationals next year and we hope to bring a few of our team mates with us.

Grins and Pickin's is a lovely and peaceful home away from home! The land is beautiful and well kept, the cabin and camp sights are perfect oases, and Christy is a kind-hearted and welcoming host! We highly recommend her campfarm and will be back very soon!
