What an amazing spot to camp for a few days. Ryan was incredibly helpful and has thought of so many little details to make your stay enjoyable. Easy to drive into Halifax to explore. The cafe down the street was lovely, food was delicious, and it couldn't be closer. Highly recommend staying here.

This campsite offers everything you could ask for. All the hook ups for a motorhome. A screened in tent when the bugs get annoying at dusk. A fire pit and picnic table. It’s easy to find and close to stunning beaches. The Blueberry Run trail is great for walking and biking. Rose and Rooster cafe is in walking distance and is fabulous.
The hosts were friendly and extremely helpful. Thanks for everything Ryan, we will be back next summer. 5+ stars from my family.

We had such a wonderful stay at Blueberry Run! Ryan contacted me as soon as we booked to see if we had any questions and was always available and answered promptly if we sent a message. We camp for 6 weeks each summer and when we arrived my daughter said “this is the prettiest campsite we’ve ever stayed at!” I have to agree, it is very peaceful with the only noise being people on the trail that goes right by the site. We biked on the trail down to a beach and walked the dog there each day.
The site is about an 8 minute drive to Lawrencetown Beach and under 10 minutes to the grocery, liquor store, pharmacy, gas etc. This is a great location if you’re looking for great beaches and also want to spend some time in the city! It’s 20-30 minutes to either Dartmouth or across the bridge to Halifax so very easy if you want to go spend the day on the waterfront or explore anything else in the Halifax area!
Ryan and Scott are very warm and welcoming hosts, making sure we had firewood on site when we arrived and checking in after we got there to make sure we got set up ok. The following day we went for a walk on their property with them and they told us about things to do/see in the area, places to eat etc, and allowed us to use any of the green space surrounding the site (of which there is plenty!!) which was very generous. Ryan and Scott’s house is close by and they made sure we knew they were available for anything we needed (including help with our waste tanks!) but we never felt like we didn’t have our own space and privacy. In my opinion, Ryan and Scott went above and beyond to make sure our stay was as comfortable as possible and I can recommend their site with 100% confidence! We will definitely be booking again!
