Wanting to escape the crowds? You need to go Somewhere Else! This is an exclusive and unique little getaway spot. Plenty of birds can be seen and heard around the shady and peaceful campsite and you may see some wallaroos that sometimes visit or pass by the campsite. Sit back, relax and soak up nature. Take a stroll to the campsite lookout. Enjoy some spectacular night time star gazing. There is no phone reception so you can be fully immersed in your outdoor experience. We are located just over 1.5 hours from Darwin, and about halfway between Katherine and Darwin via an old section of the original Stuart Highway. With only one site available you will have plenty of space and privacy. There is however enough space for 3 - 4 vehicles with vans so if you are travelling with your mates as a group you may book for extra vehicles. Please go to "Extras" in the booking platform to add additional vehicles and select "Add to Trip". We are just 15 minutes to Robin Falls, 20 minutes to Litchfield National Park's southern entry*, 30 minutes to Adelaide River, 45 minutes to Daly River, and about 1 hour to Butterfly Gorge. You will have plenty to see and do throughout your stay with us. Pets on a leash are welcome. Campers must have their own toilet and take all waste and rubbish with them on departure. *Access is subject to seasonal conditions so please check the NT Road Report for the current status.Wanting to escape the crowds? Somewhere Else Bush Camp
M5 Adventures Recommended 🤙🏼
This Hipcamp is a great little spot allowing you to feel secluded and at one with nature. You need to be fully self sufficient as there is nothing- no power, water, toilets, showers, reception 🖤 It is bliss. The hosts are really awesome and super knowledgeable about the area. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. For more check out our Instagram @m5_adventures

Escape from the hustle and bustle
We absolutely love this spot. The peace and quiet is exactly what we look for. This was our third visit, this time we were lucky enough to have a beautiful chorus of birds in the morning. We set our tent up so the sun rises and falls into the doorway so we can lie in enjoying the sunshine and birds. So lucky this stay to have a couple of Norther Rosellas join us for breakfast as well.

Serenity off the beaten track
Such a breath of fresh air after the grey nomad trail. Serene tranquil campsite. Not a whole lot of wildlife, but it was nice not to be woken up at the crack of dawn by birdsong. The hammocks were a real treat. Lazing in the late afternoon into evening and star gazing whilst laying down. I think the best addition to a campsite we've come across. Great star gazing, sooo many stars. Easy access to the 4wd track into Litchfield from the south. Definitely worth doing. We would definitely visit again.

Somewhere Else Bush Camp
Perfect to disconnect & explore
This spot is a gem. We stayed for the first time at the start of July. Loved the peace and area so much booked again 2 weeks later for 2 nights. It is an easy 1.5hr drive from Darwin so was perfect for us to escape straight after work. As the first time the area was spotless which is such a pleasure. We will be back again for more time in this little gem

Beautiful secluded spot in the bush. We had a lovely camp fire in the fire pit.
