Cute camper in a beautiful setting
Ivonne's camper has such a cute, retro vibe, but with all the modern amenities. The inside of the camper has fun, colorful decorations and a very comfortable full size mattress. There's a bathroom, kitchen, and air conditioning on board, so while you're out in the woods, you're not really roughing it. There's a nice area right out front with a picnic table and a spot for a fire. The camper is located on Ivonne's property that feels like a peaceful little getaway, complete with a small garden and four friendly chickens. There is a lot to explore, like a nature walk, swings and hammocks. Ivonne is such a welcoming host!
The Retro Camper in the Woods is a great experience! Ivonne has it decked out with all you need. The farm offers a meditative trail through the woods, and is very quiet. Ivonne was responsive to our messages and needs. I highly recommend this stay!
Charming and comfortable
The Retro camper was so charming and had everything you need. Plus the bed was very comfortable. There was lots to do in nearby Chapel Hill, Carrboro and Hillsborough and lots of great eating places. A perfect weekend getaway.
What a great deal!
I have already renamed the Retro Camper in the Woods to Sweetpea and I want to keep her all to myself! Ms. Yvonne may have to evict me. I want to stay in her backyard for ever.
Location Location Location.
Very private neighborhood with very few neighbors. Very quiet. Just the wind in the trees and the sound of wind chimes. No street noise at all. It really is 30 minutes from everywhere but you feel like you are in the middle of nowhere (my personal preference). I visited William B. Umstead Park, JC Raulston Arboretum and Duke Gardens. All just 30 minutes away from Sweetpea. I will be going down to Zebulon tomorrow for Aura Photography at Sage and Smudge.
Strong WIFI connection. After each day I returned back to Sweetpea and was able to edit and load my photos at camp! Usually I have to wait until I am home to get this strong of a signal.
This is a spot I will return to.
Thank you Ms. Yvonne for such a welcoming place
