This place was amazing! The sunset views & stars at night are absolutely beautiful. The waterfall haven campground was amazing too. The waterfall & creek are so peaceful
& relaxing. The host was also very accommodating during our stay. Would definitely return.
I really enjoyed the stay. I would recommend having some type of 4x4 vehicle that can climb and descend 9 degree slopes. Highly recommended and David, the owner of these areas, is a really great guy.
The campsite was absolutely beautiful. Better than the vistas you could see at Great Smoky Mtns NP. Good flat ground, fire pit, and a swing (at site #2). The roads up to the campsite are a little rough at times, but DO NOT take a wrong turn or you’ll end up driving miles on treacherous, narrow roads. Our car got scratched down the sides because of how narrow the roads were. The host is not very responsive, and the directions to the site were hard to find. Our host also told someone else that they could camp in our spot, and then did not respond when we asked if there was anywhere else to stay until the next morning. We ended up having to just set up camp in the other vacant site and hope nobody showed up.
