As always, we had a wonderful stay!
As always, we had a wonderful stay! After covid, the Cedar Mountain area less than a mile down the road is booming with wonderful food and little shops! Glad to disconnect from the world for a few days and feel refreshed! Awesome hosts.
Incredible experience all around.
Best experience! I will be back as soon as possible. I hesitate to write how great this place is because I want to go back ASAP and I don’t want this yurt to be booked all the time! Seriously best experience ever and Molly and Christian were so kind, generous, and helpful. Yurt was incredible and so clean. 10 out of 10.
So cute & cozy
Loved staying here. Close to town and also close to so many great hikes in the area. Yurt was super clean and hooked up with towels, snacks, water, etc. Very cool
Outdoor shower. would definitely recommend.
We had such a great time at the Little Green Yurt! It was so hard to leave but it was set up so well to accommodate us and we will definitely be back. The heated outdoor shower was so fun and added that extra special touch to the glamling feel. We got fresh produce from the farmstand down the road and cooked it over a campfire while enjoying the quiet of the woods. We were also recommended to check out a local lake that was perfect for swimming and had many hiking trails to explore around the area!
Lovely & relaxing yurt
The yurt was so adorable!! Such a great retreat. Wish that I had more time there! Great amenities such as coffee and snacks. Heat and A/C included. Comfortable bed. You can tell the hosts have put a lot of effort into making this such a great place to stay. Highly recommend! Can’t wait to come back again 😊
Beautiful set up
The Little Green Yurt was cozy and beautifully set up. Although not as scenic and secluded as we would have liked, it was convenient to Brevard and Dupont. My husband intended to hang his hammock for the night but couldn't find a place, FYI for any other hammockers.
Otherwise the yurt was great and had everything we needed. I appreciated the solar and motion lights outside. The beds were cozy, there were snacks and games for the kids and the loft was so fun. We would recommend this stay to other families with kids.
Don't think, just book.
I will preface my review by saying it rained the WHOLE time I was there, and I still had an amazing time. The yurt itself is incredibly cozy with everything you could possibly need for a couple days (or longer). Grill for cooking, snacks for hiking, clean water for drinking, mini-fridge, microwave, shower, you name it.
The location was probably my favorite part. You're right next to Pisgah National Forest which is home to incredible waterfalls and overlook trails. DuPont State Forest is also only a few minutes away with even more waterfalls and wooded trails. Our favorite day was waking up with coffee in the yurt, hiking Pigsah in the morning, lunch in Brevard, hiking DuPont in the afternoon and returning to burgers on the grill, s'mores and a nice hot shower in the evening.
I can't wait to return, and hopefully I get to experience the area when it's not down pouring. Thanks Molly & Christian for being great hosts and for having the yurt so fresh and clean when we arrived.
Great little spot for a home base to explore the area. No frills but also has everything you need. Clean place with thoughtful amenities (fire starters, folding chairs, coffee, lots of water, comfy bedding.) the outdoor shower, with a new on-demand hot water heater was great to have—the water heater wasn’t yet noted in the write up. Nearby Cedar Mtn cafe was delicious. Thank you!
