Just like living on the farm
Private Ranch Land Camp was just like staying on a hobby farm. We had plenty of room to set up two large tents for our family of eleven and the dog. Nearby animals provided entertainment for everyone and a wake up call on the mornings! Trails to walk on and a creek to enjoy. The portable restroom was clean and a small distance from the campsite. The hosts were wonderful, very attentive, hauling water multiple times, including the kids in the animal chores, even giving us squirt guns to cool down on a hot day! If you are into primitive camping and want to stay away from the crowded campgrounds this is the place!
A beautiful property.
Art and Kate were wonderful hosts. Unfortunately we had to end our stay early due to a personal medical issue, but we would absolutely stay here again. A gorgeous property with much to do and excellent hosts.
We had a really good time. My daughter loved playing with the animals. They let us help feed the pigs, cows, goats and sheep in the morning. It was an awesome experience. The campsite was super private. They keep the property super clean. The hosts are awesome and make sure you have a great time! We brought our dogs and they had a great time also.
Art and Kate were wonderful hosts. They made our children feel at home as they rode their bikes around the property helping feed and check on the animals. The site was as expected, we stayed in the lower lot. Kate really cares about the animals and sets a good example for the children and educates. It was a unique learning experience blending a small farm with woods/camping and corn fields all within a short hike.
New favorite get away spot!
We just got home and unpacked and we are already trying to figure out when we can go back! Art and Kate are 2 of the most welcoming and kind people you will ever meet. They were accommodating and communicative before and during our trip. Their land is beautiful and well maintained. We chose a private site in a 5 acre field surrounded by woods and walking paths. They have pigs, cows, goats, rabbits, ducks and geese and they let our son help with feeding all of them. He had a blast! They also offer guided trails and rentals of a go kart and 4 wheelers. We all had so much fun riding around their property. We had such an awesome time and can’t wait to go back. We HIGHLY recommend spending some time here with these wonderful people!
