Amazing location with panoramic views of the Vermont Green Mountain range, this property adjoins a public 9 hole golf course. Located on over 260 private and secluded acres, property also has a 2 acre pond for swimming, paddling or just relaxing. There are several miles of maintained hiking trails meandering throughout the forest, ranging from an easy walk, to hilly and somewhat challenging. Many varieties of tent locations or places to park an RV, pop up, or car. This is considered a "Primitive camp site". There is no shower, toilet or electric available at this time, but well water can be had from our residence, via a hose spigot on the side of our home. This is our 3rd year of hosting, and due to the overwhelming popularity of having an abundance of privacy, we will continue to be only hosting one party at a time. Which means you'll get the privilege of not having to share your surroundings with anyone else! Your own private camp ground! We are hoping this all works out and intend to continuously improve amenities, activities and overall experience. We are hoping to provide an exceptional value and experience that will bring back repeat campers, that we can trust and build a rapport. We are looking forward to meeting you! There will be a picnic table, two Adirondack chairs, and a firepit on site, for your convenience. Firewood will be available on site as well, for an additional $4.00 night, as an extra.Amazing location with panoramic views of the Vermont Green Mountain range, this property adjoins a public 9 hole golf course. Enjoyed a long weekend here in October 2023. The view is as good as the pictures, and it is indeed a wide open space! Host was helpful and directions were easy to locate. We enjoyed the miles of woods and meadow trails on the property, perfect for a morning walk with the dog. The only buildings nearby are the host's house and barn ~100 yards beyond the campsite. It is far away and behind some trees, so the site does indeed feel very private. Neighbors are very very distant, so it was very quiet and dark.

Spectacular property with amazing views, beautiful pond, and hiking trails. Very private with lots of wildlife. Plenty of room for our dogs to run and play. Evan was very response and helpful. One of the best Hipcamp experiences we’ve had!

Best Site Ever!
This site is incredible! Easy to find, easy to park, easy to enjoy. The views are outstanding and the property is gorgeous! Evan has paths thru the meadow on the hill, in the woods, and a pond you can put a kayak in and drift around. Evan is welcoming and kind. Also, just 5 minutes down the road is the town of Poultney, VT with a fantastic burger at Toad's Burger Bar!

Stunning Views
Best view New York State. Best. Situated on the top of a hill overlooking the valley and small rolling mountains in the background, this brings peace to the soul like nothing else. The homeowners were welcoming and very helpful when I had a small issue with my camper. Will absolutely stay here again.
