Our property is a beautiful and scenic farm in the Hunter Valley NSW.  Private yet so close to town and 15 minutes to the Hunter Valley wineries. Situated on 25 acres and surrounded by the state forest this haven is great for hiking, mountain biking, camping, horse riding, motorbike riding, 4x4 etc.  We have a toilet available on site with laundry facilities (no shower), and access to water and power.  You are welcome to bring your own caravan, and we have fire tins available for the colder months. We currently run the property as a working horse agistment farm, however we still have plenty of space (5 acres) for guests to holiday here and enjoy the property. No pets please. We run a family business, Odyssean, on our property. We have 24 paddocks and 40 stables and operate as a horse agistment property. All paddocks have been designed to incorporate a shelter or large tree and have electric fencing to ensure the safety of the horses. Paddocks are fertilised with natural chicken manure, rather than chemicals to increase our ability to grow superior grasses and these are slashed regularly. We also have 2 day yards, a wash bay, a private mess room and beautiful trails just out the back gate. We are focused on providing a relaxing environment for the horses that stay with us and great facilities for their owners.

    Wine Country Farm Stay
    We enjoyed our stay, whilst its a working horse agistment farm, the area we camped at gave us privacy, bush and farm land views. Our sites fire pit was warm and there was plenty of firewood available to use. Kangaroos grazed in the morning and afternoon sun before hopping through the farm to bushland. The Loo was 500m away, basic but functional. This was a last minute, weekend winery trip for us and we found the property around 20 mins from those wineries visited, Cessnock is only 5 mins away. So very central. Would happily recommend Ambers property. to others.

    We enjoyed the experience. Plenty of wood for the fire pit added to the great sunset. Campsites were separated well and not overcrowded. Facilities were adequate for camping including electricity. Cessnock literally minutes away, close to Hunter valley winery Value for money we would definitely stay again.

    We absolutely loved our stay here. A peaceful and private camp spot, we especially loved the horses in the neighboring paddock, but also close enough to playgrounds and shops etc to keep the kids entertained. Lovely hosts and beautiful site. Would definitely recommend.

    We really enjoyed our stay. The property is literally 5 min from Cessnock and it was a good base for our Hunter trip. We loved the fire pit and wood deliveries. There is a basic flushing toilet in a shed with a sink about 200 metres away which was a bonus!
