Handy for those looking for one night or so surrounded by beautiful greenery on a private residential property in the Northern Illawarra Suburb of Stanwell Tops, close to the Royal National Park!! (My mobile number is apparently at the end of the booking sheet!)
NOTE: 1. NO ANTI-SOCIAL BEHAVIOUR OR NOISE WILL BE TOLERATED.
2. NO "Guests" of guests because they are not covered by insurance.
SITE 1 GARDEN DELIGHT is a driveway suitable for a single caravan (only reversed in), camper van or similar vehicle. ( Max. 7 metre length) Or just a tent adjacent to the vehicle. Power and water availability.
SITE 2 NON-CARAVAN SUITABILITY (not suitable for caravan but can take a large van) is suitable for a 4WD with tent on top, etc. Also power and water available.
There is also a slight slope. The facilities include a proper shower and toilet. Don't forget the Aerogard!
2 x 10-15amp adaptors available if you require one. (No extra fee)

Dogs permitted. Read info below regarding a dog.
NOTE: The property is located on top of the Illawarra Escarpment and does not flood and is on a very slight slope.
NOTE: Cut off time for Instant Booking is at 7pm on the day.
Also when you confirm booking, just message the type of vehicle and set up you have so I have an idea what to expect.
As well the number of people which can be shown where it says -2+, use minus or add to change the number.
With Australian native birds in abundance. A place to hang your hat after a day out in the Northern Illawarra, just south of Sydney and nearby the Royal National Park and beaches.
NO OPEN FIRES ALLOWED BUT COOKING WITH GAS OR YOUR OWN GAS BBQ ARE FINE AS LONG AS HANDLED PROPERLY.
PRICE IS: $40 1-2 people per site with ADDITIONAL $18 per person over the age of 13 years. Children Under 13 are $10.
NOTE: Dogs allowed but must be supervised with clean ups of any dog droppings, thanks!! AT ALL TIMES DOGS MUST BE ON A LEAD OR RUNNER. Please keep on a lead because of wildlife area. Please advise if you are bringing a dog with you.

The camp is exactly as described in the listing and Alan is an accomodating host. The location was convenient for our 1 night stay on the driveway in our VW campervan. I'd recommend levelling chocks to iron out the slight gradient but they are far from essential.
Good pit stop if you need a night to camp. You camp in Allans front yard. Allan is really friendly and will give you a little tour of his back yard as well. Handy that there’s a power point and a toilet! Lovely little beach just a short drive away.
Alan was a great host. He gave us a tour of the property and made us feel welcome. We had a great overnight stay even though it was very windy and cold. Thank you, Alan.

A clean front lawn to pitch a tent and well kept backyard with lots to see. Alan is a very friendly and welcoming host with lots of stories to share about the area and beyond. Perfect for a quick stopover for those on a road trip up or down the coast.

Alan welcomed us when we arrived and gave us a tour around the campsite while sharing interesting things that happened around the site. There's a toilet and shower which was very convenient. Alan was really helpful by providing us the extension cord. We definitely recommend this as we had a great night sleep and our puppy is over the moon that we brought him along to camp since this site is pet friendly.

Just to be clear for people reading this, under the Local Government Act, Moveable Dwellings Sec 77, which I have on my info page, I couldn't really call it a camping ground etc as I am allowed to have 2 caravans, two camper vans or two tents on my property for a couple of days without a Development Approval from Wollongong Council because they are all moveable dwellings....so here one moment, gone the next!!! But it's basically still a new concept from Hipcamp that if you have the room, why not use your property!! Once again thanks for the kind words, Cheers Alan

This is a residential home stay, with dual driveway access. The front garden area is lovely and quite private, watch out for mozzies!
At rear of the house is an independently accessible toilet and shower.
Allan is a lovely host, very knowledgeable of the area and loves to chat!
