This campsite is located on 48 beautiful, undulating acres of hobby farm. The site captures the glorious views of the Wang Wauk & Coloongalook River junctions and across the lakes all the way to Pacific Palms - even a sliver of ocean is included!  Located less than 10 minutes off the Pacific Highway near Nabiac on the Mid North Coast - 2 hrs and 40 min north of Sydney. We are 30 minutes from Forster, Taree, Gloucester and Bulahdelah and surprisingly only 20 minutes from the closest beach at Blackhead, or 45 minutes from the pristine Boomerang and Bluey's beaches. We are 10 minutes from Nabiac, a thriving buzzy little town which has the local hotel /pub, cafes, craft, vintage, recycled and gift shops and the national Motorcycle museum. It's well worth a visit.

Rudders River View Camp
Beautiful location.
Paul was very helpful when I arrived and made sure I had everything I needed. The campsite is very well maintained and dog friendly. There is water available for all campers. the campsite has a beautiful view and is a lovely place to relax and unwind. If bringing small kids, be mindful of the steep downwards hill nearby. There is a BBQ grill over the fire that is available for cooking and a table and chairs setup to make meals and prep very easy. Highly recommend.

Rudders River View Camp
Paul's block is stunning. Amazing views from the campsite. The campsite itself is quite small but we actually loved that. We were the only ones there and I believe he only takes one booking per day for this reason. There is potable and non potable water available. There's also a picnic bench to eat on, garbage bins and you can also have a wander around their property. We didn't actually get to meet Paul, but we met his wife and she was so lovely and welcoming. We would stay here again if we're ever back in the area!

Rudders River View Camp
We had a fantastic time at Rudders, Paul was very accommodating. Was so peaceful and quiet, but not far from town or thr beaches. Would definitely recommend 👌 Our pup loved the space to run and also Frankie the Cavoodle.

Weekend getaway with the dogs
Had a great time off grid at Rudders River View. Everything was as expected. With all the recent rain, we even had clear skies during our stay, and were able to enjoy the views, the campfire and the serenity. Great to have water on site, and the campfire bbq was awesome. The dogs had a great time exploring too! Good access with our 19 foot caravan. We will be back.

Rudders River View Camp
Perfect spot to finish our trip away. We only stayed 1 night but totally worth it. Stunning land to camp on. Easy access in but a little tricky leaving with a 22ft camper. However, we did it but squished a few growing cucumbers in our way out.. Paul was very understanding though. Lovely set up, flat area for our camper. Table to eat at, fire with griddle to barbi food. Stunning view and a feeling of spaciousness as you look down on the valley. We even got to try Paul’s lovely fresh apple Cucumbers ( before we squished them, which were growing on his land. Paul was friendly and stopped to have a lovely chat. We will certainly be back when we go on our travels.

Rudders River View Camp
Paul and Chantal have a magic spot overlooking hills with the Pacific Ocean in the distance. The Hipcamp was well signposted, Paul met us and offered every assistance, including firewood. It's very well set up. So quiet, almost total privacy. We would have liked to stay longer.
