Find us on instagram @Phoranna__ Phoranna Farm sits on 26 acres of well maintained, flat, green land with a swim-able dam and forest trails only seconds away! Enjoy your stay in Phoranna’s serenity with clear views of Mount Yarrahappini during the day, and the entertainment of an endless inch flat screen viewing of the Milky Way at night. With clear views of Mount Yarrahappini and close the national park, we have three campsites for you to choose from, all providing you with complete privacy. Our campsites feature cleared open spaces surrounded by native bush with forest trails. Firepits are supplied, firewood is available for $15 per load. We welcome caravans, motorhomes, campervans and camper trailers. There is plenty of space at our grassy, level campsites. The beach is a quick 10 min drive, the shops and restaurants are also 10 mins away. A short and easy 5 minute detour from the freeway will leave you feeling like you're a million miles away. Well behaved pets are always welcome! This is a peaceful spot, so if you are looking to play loud music/have parties then unfortunately we have to request you book elsewhere. (Please be aware that the pin on google maps for our property is not correct--we have contacted google maps to fix this, but in the meantime please stick to the directions provided upon booking!)Our first site 'Akaroa', sits at the very top of the property on a grassy and level plot. Tucked behind an ancient gum--this site offers fantastic privacy while maintaining incredible views. Just a short walk away is the property's dam, featuring a small deck and chairs for your comfort. Our forest trails are also a moment away, and perfect for mountain biking or a leisurely stroll. Akaroa is nestled at the base of Mount Yarrahapinni, and is perfect for those looking for a serene and private site. Both sites come with a private in-ground toilet. This site is off-grid.  Firewood is available for $15 per bundle (tractor bucket = 1x bundle). Nightly rate includes two people. Additional individuals are $20 per head. Children under 12 camp for free. For more information on this site, check out our instagram: @Phoranna__

Not private - Neighbours very close
Not what we were expecting. Neighbours were very close by and quite loud at times. Were warned when we got there theat they can be aggressive (this kind of information should be provided prior to booking/arrival). Granted we didn't have any run ins with them, their close proximity wasn't desirable. The few places we have stayed at previously have felt much more remote/isolated. The host was accommodating and offered for us to stay at the other site but that was 25m from where he was staying and not what we were after. We have 3 dogs who we like to let roam but couldn't do so freely in this place. Granted the ad does state to keep dogs within the tree line so that was made clear prior to arrival. Owner also has dogs which wasn't stated in the ad. Felt much more like staying in someone's residential backyard than a remote rural setting. I'm sure it would suit a number of families/campers but wasn't what we were looking for. Possibly our fault for not asking enough questions upfront.

Great spot
This is a very cool campsite which we were fortunate enough to have all to ourselves. Love the unique fire pit and lights. It rained for prob 90% of the time but you can’t pick the weather. Lucky there are plenty of trees for shelter.

Great spot. Loved it.
We had a great stay. Nice spot to camp and have a camp fire. Close to the beach as well which was nice. Pack your mosquito repellent as there were quite a few but I suspect that’s due to all the rain we have been having this season. We will definitely stay again. Thanks for having us.

Beautiful part of the world!
Lovely place to camp up and enjoy some down time. Beautiful grass spot great for both kids and dogs. Very private spot. Close to cool little towns, including the beautiful South West Rocks. Andrew checked in with us and then left us to it which we appreciated.
