Set 10km outside of Narrabri on a dirt road is Narrabri Fish Farm. Camp in the serenity alongside 100 ponds. Take the daily fish feeding tour at 10.30am or explore the farm - book in advance or when you arrive. Flushing toilets and hot showers (also a new addition of the donkey shower) Campfires permitted (pending Fire bans, please check). Firewood available upon arrival. Cabins and kiosk coming soon. Outback Fish Farm
The Big Cod!
Even though they are in a drought and the place isn't as pretty as it usually is (apparently) we were welcomed, donkey shower was a go (beautiful and hot) and told we could camp anywhere. Rick is an absolute legend of a bloke, good laugh super easy to communicate and chat to. His Dad and staff are also super cool humans! We haven't camped at a place where we felt so chill and welcomed. Thanks heaps Rick, we'll be back...we had a fabulous time.

Outback Fish Farm
Large grounds and able to pick just about anywhere to camp. Felt like we almost had the whole place to ourselves minus the odd car going past on the property. Shower facilities looked well setup but no water, and it was mentioned there were issues with a new water pump. Toilets could do with a bit of a clean up both the actual room and the storage area you walk through to enter. Had a good experience overall though and hope these will be easily resolved.

The #1 spot around Narrabri!
Ricko was a brilliant host. Had the place to ourselves. Incredibly private yet 10min to town. The showers were a highlight and so was Spud the dog for the kids. It's on our favourites list and can't wait to return.

The peace and quiet. The feeling of a safe and secure area to overnight. Couldn't fire up the donkey boiler due to fire restrictions. Host made other amenities available as needed.

Lovely quiet stay with a good selection of wide open and also shady sites. Toilets and showers.
