Our farm is located in Bobin, in the Mid-North Coast region. The property features undulating green hills and a nice cool creek, peppered with shady trees, where you can cool off in summer. If you're feeling adventurous you can visit the Ellenborough Falls or head out to Tapin Tops National Park. The national park lies on a spectacular section of the Great Eastern Escarpment, high up in the mountains just northwest of Wingham. There are bushwalks, waterfalls and lookouts. The region features scenic lookouts with amazing panoramic views, subtropical rainforest and old growth eucalypt trees with its richly diverse plant and animal habitat, which dingoes, platypus, koalas and other interesting native species call home. Pitch your tent in the cool afternoon shade of river She-oaks and Lilly Pillies. Swim and skip a stone across Dingo Creek. Or sit in peace and quiet watchfulness for a platypus. Wake to the song of a hundred different birds and restoke your fire for that morning coffee as the sun soaks the valley in light. You need to be self-contained camper with your own camping toilet/shower. There is access to drinking water on site. This is the place to slow down and take the time to listen, where you will hear nature's magical symphony. A comment on access: Our all-weather crossing was destroyed in the Black Summer Bushfires and again in the 2021 floods. There is a small bridge that cars and trailers cross easily, however, we recommend it to experienced caravaners only. We have had a family member's caravan slip off the bridge. There are photos in Josh Brown's review if you need guidance. Our farm is located in Bobin, in the Mid-North Coast region. Dingo Creek at Old Hill Farm
Peace and Tranquility by the river-
Getting to the site is a bit unnerving, especially with the long grass sending all the parking sensors bonkers! But the ordeal is well worth it when you finally get there. Dingo Creek is a few metres away down some rough earth steps and the setting was lovely - once Simon had very kindly cleared an area for us with a raditional scythe, no less, and then turned up with a truckload of firewood. Simon and Emily were lovely - happy to offer assistance, but not 'hovering' over us. We had bats flying out of the trees in the evening and returning as the sun came up. Clear skies for astrophotography, birdsong throughout the day and blessed peace. Perhaps a little more 'guidance' in reaching the site would be nice - I was already convinced we'd left the path and were dragging our trailer through someone else's field! All in all a relaxing and enjoyable stay for any traditional camper - no phone service (although Simon and Emily let us know there was a phone at the house for emergencies) and no overcrowded busy campsite. Many thanks for the opportunity to enjoy your farm and I'm sure others will come to enjoy it too.

Dingo Creek at Old Hill Farm
Awesome little spot - the creek is a 20 second walk from the campground which was a much needed escape from the heat + is home to some eels and frogs you can see at night. Would recommend a 4x4 for the drive in, there are some spots that would be a little dicey in a small car. Also relatively close to the owners house ~100m or so away, but the long grass between the site and the house still gives you plenty of privacy. Would definitely stay again!

Amazing river spot
Wow, the river is absolutely amazing! We sat by the river for hours, listening to the water flow over the rocks, the bird life, it was so peaceful we never wanted to leave!

Dingo Creek at Old Hill Farm
Lovely spot. The river bank is just beautiful. Like a fairyland. Access was a little ‘hairy’ but with a 4WD was doable. Emily and family where lovely hosts and kept to themselves.

Dingo Creek at Old Hill Farm
We really enjoyed our time on Old Hill Farm at Dingo Creek. The river was fantastic for our young kids and it stayed so cool and shady down there on hot days. We really appreciated the single group booking option, it felt great to have the place to ourselves. We drive a 4WD and tow a CubBrumby and access was good for us, our friends towed a caravan and the access was slow going in places and narrow on the bridge but they made it. Would recommend this Hipcamp and would stay again. Friendly hosts who even delivered eggs one arvo , thanks guys =)
