Monkey Rock Camp
Mountain serenity
Such a beautiful property. Stuart was a great host, very knowledgeable and helpful. We loved having the place all to ourselves. There is lots of wildlife and peace and quite. It's a bit of a drive to the Natiinal Park, but after a day of exploring the amazing Warrumbungles, it's nice to come back to your own 2500 acre campsite...! We were lucky enough to have the waterfall appear off the back of the Bluff after an afternoon storm. Thanks for sharing Stuart.

Monkey Rock Camp
Stunning, peaceful and private
This place is amazing. Probably the most beautiful place we've ever camped. So private, so peaceful and the view of the Warrumbungles is breathtaking, given the property is almost surrounded by the National Park. Stuart was lovely, as was Jock the resident smoochy kelpie. We'll definitely be back! Only wished we lived closer so we could camp there regularly.

Bush camping at its best
You'd be doing yourself a favour by booking a stay here at James's place. The site was clean and clear with plenty of space. The views are sublime and so is the privacy. We took a 4wd and a wagon 2wd and had no problems with the track in. James and his dad Stuart were lovely and left us to do our thing, which included bathing Al fresco ( as you do in the bush). Lol. The private billabong/dam was the place to be to watch the sunset and all the locals coming down to their favourite watering hole. The moon rising was also spectacular. We will be back.
