200 acres of scenic farm paddocks with seasonal creek, and forested hills adjoining the Bournda National Park. See kangaroos, wallabies and wombats and if you are lucky an echidna or deer! Horses also live here and are separate from the main camping area. Merimbula Camping is an ideal place to camp during Wanderer Festival 2024. We accept only a small number of campers to ensure everyone has a few acres each and peace and quiet to enjoy the natural surroundings. Sites are generally more secluded as go from 1 to 10. Sites are walking distance to a composting toilet (check site details). Good phone reception. Dogs welcome. They can go off leash if supervised during the day. No loud music. No loud parties. No motorbikes. No generators. Please keep noise to a minimum. 5 mins drive to Bournda NP and Lagoon/Island/Beach, more beaches, Tura Beach Woolworths, petrol station. 10 mins drive to Merimbula, Magic Mountain and Tathra. Showers; Hobart Beach, Bournda NP - 293 Bournda Road, Bournda. Beach showers in Merimbula (Spencer Park, Bar Beach, Fishpen, Ford Park) Pambula Beach (near the Surf Club, Lions Park Lookout, Rivermouth). Hot Showers - Next to SLSC, Andy Poole Drive, Tathra, Firepits provided. Firewood; There's plenty of kindling and small branches around so you can help yourself. Or BYO wood, BYO chainsaw (just ask, we can let you know where to cut wood), or pay us to bring some to you - we can bring it to you once you choose your exact spot.

Stunning site! Highly recommended!
Highly recommended! We discovered this hidden gem on our last trip back down the coast and returned this year to experience the beauty once again. The host is an absolute delight. We will be back.

Merimbula Camp 8. Secluded Plateau
Very nice place to camp. We stay 3 nights. Quiet if your neighbour do not run music until 1am as for our 2d night. Expensive for Easter weekend. more than 520$ for 3 night and 4 persons...

Merimbula Camping 3. Big Paddock
Big 3 paddock
The serenity was beauitiful, nice and close to towns and marked signs made it easy to find. Do need to be careful of ticks and leaches in the creek. It is nice and grassy, the grass is tallish and you can generally find a nice flat spot, there's lots of bits of wood around the site we were at and plenty of kindling, was a great trip 😊
