125 acres hosted by Ria R.
Heirloom is a 125 acre bush property located just 15 minutes from Jindabyne. It is 4WD ONLY access.  Its elevation at 1200m means we occasionally get winter snow, the property is on a private road and is extremely secluded. The property is not used for farming so is home to many native animals and birds including wallabies, kangaroos, wombats and lyrebirds. This is a remote escape and campers must be fully self contained including their own toilets and drinking water.  Unfortunately dogs are not allowed.  Campfires are permitted in a designated area when restrictions aren't in place. We are located just 50 minutes to both Perisher and Thredbo. Our place is hard to find so directions will be given once a booking is confirmed. Kids under 16 stay for free at Heirloom, only guests aged 17 and older need to be included in the booking.  We are providing just one camping site to ensure guests have the best experience possible. The camp site is located in the main paddock, protected from the worst of the winds and wild weather.  Once on the property follow the signs to the camping area. Campers must BYO amenities and leave no trace. Group Bookings are welcome.

Heirloom
We had an amazing 5 nights away at Heirloom despite the -9 mornings! Rias property feels like you are a million miles from anywhere but you are really only a short 10-15mins drive to Jindabyne for your morning coffee then straight up the mountain to hit the slopes. The area had received a huge amount of rain before our arrival but gravel had been laid in the wettest part of the driveway to help prevent getting bogged. Note that during winter and after rain the property is definitely 4WD access only as Ria mentions in the advertisement. We loved our stay - so remote but so convenient. There was also huge numbers of Roos and wallabies that the kids loved. We will be back for sure! Thanks Ria

Beautiful Alpine Camping
This is a fantastic spot in the corner of the property with snow gums around. If you’ve never bush camped this is a great half way step with the advantage of being only 15 minutes or so from town. I highly recommend it.

Charming and private
What a charming place! Being only one campsite, it was private and secluded. We saw plenty of wallabies and bird life. Great directions from the hosts. Only a short drive to Jindabyne.

This is a beautiful property with a private campsite and incredibly peaceful. Great sunny spot for solar panels. A lot of wildlife both on the property and as you drive in with stunning mountain views. Close to snowfields and Jindabyne.
