Road in was very narrow & dangerous and felt locals were slightly hostile.
Very remote area.
Only stayed the one night, booked 3, but heavy rain came in. Felt it safer to get out of the place when we were able too.

Great secluded spot, lots of room with good access to the river.
Feels like there’s no one for miles even with other campers there too

Gorgeous riverside camping. Pristine water with sub tropical backdrop. Swimming was excellent, recommend taking rock hoppers.

Overall we had a fab couple of days...
Our van is not off road... Did bottom out on a few dips but was ok. Ensure you camp in a high spot..we had a low spot on top of the bank and did get quite water logged & muddy when it rained... Rain made it ,too ,a beautiful spot.
There are 2 main 'entrances' into the water. Great wading, paddling, tubing ..easy float down the whole riverfront of property from one end to another..
Downstream 2nd entrance great for kids.. Not much of a current as you dip in.If it rains be aware there are low bridges to cross and subject to flooding. This added to our whole adventure and loved it!
The drive from Thora is 22kms in mainly on bitumen then dirt then gravel.. Narrow.. This is totally your out of way spot.. At the moment no phone service at all.
All in all..loved it!

Great tubing!Beautiful riverfront sites (dry weather) and riverbank sitesSUP -ping the Bellinger!Downstream river entry point

We had an awesome time at Mark's property. He is very welcoming and takes the time to get to know and take care of everyone that he hosts.
The Property is absolutely amazing being right in the National Park, whilst being able to bring our dogs with us.
Cannot recommend Mark's place enough.

Mark’s property was beautiful! We had some rain during our stay which I thought made the campsite and the river even more beautiful. The drive down was very pretty as you cross the bridges over the river. Would 100% recommend and would come and stay again.
