Our campsites beside Crystal Creek offer you the opportunity to get away from it all and back to nature in a beautiful tranquil setting. This 54 acre property offers spectacular views of the surrounding mountains and convenient access to a range of destinations including Murwillumbah, Tyalgum and Chillingham. Breakfast and lunch is available at the nearby Crystal Creek Cafe and nursery. Camp along beautiful Crystal Creek - the level sites are on established grass. Each site has either a firepit or a fireplace, relax around the crackling campfire in the evenings as you gaze at the night skies. Sites are on the eastern side of the creek and are shaded from the hot afternoon sun. Cool off in the rock pool and enjoy the views of The Cougals and Springbrook Mountain. Crystal Creek is a spring fed creek and in periods of drought, reduced water flow may mean that swimming is not possible. The sites suit tents/swags, camper trailers and camper vans. Some sites suitable for caravans and motorhomes. Please send request. Minimum two night booking in peak times. There is access to drinking water, a toilet and a hot camping shower. Not suitable for children under 8. No pets please.

Site 1 - The Rock Pool
Easter camp
Nice flat paddock next to Crystal Creek, deep enough to cool down on a hot day. Funky hot shower with plenty of room for changing & a very clean portaloo. Sites were far enough apart to almost forget you had neighbours.

Had a great couple days camping here. The view of the surrounding mountain and creek was awesome. You can tell Leanne has put a lot of effort into maintaining the property and keeping everything green and tidy.

Site 2 - The Rock Pool
Leanne's land was so lovely! Such a good setup with sites by the creek, each with a fire pit and then a camp shower and flushable portaloo across the paddock. A great base for exploring the national parks. Leanne was very welcoming and kind. I would definitely recommend!

Site 2 - The Rock Pool
A beautiful place to relax
I stayed 2 nights during the week at Site 2. I was the only camper there. I'd originally booked site 1, but after arriving I realised that site 2 was far superior. It faces the join of the two creeks and has the afternoon sun on the creek and (small) rapids. Beautiful to sit with the water sounds. The bank has a gentle slope into the water, so it's easy to access from multiple points and you'll hear the running water sounds from your campsite. Site 1 views the smaller and slower-flowing branch of the creek. It's not as nice. Site 3 accesses the larger rockpool and would also be a great campsite. Site 4 is a little further back from the water, but still has easy access via the (slightly rocky) creek overflow. The road is for local traffic only, so you'll rarely hear traffic, at least during the week. All sites receive early morning sun, great to dry things out when you're ready to depart. The sites all face the west and receive shade from the tall trees mid-afternoon onwards, so you won't get too hot. I had my own shower, so can't comment on the the provided shower. The porta-loo was very clean. Leanne is a great host and I'll return to stay again.
