The property rests on the shoulder on Mt Nellinda on nineteen hectares of land, there are two large Greenhouses where we grow potted flowers and some veggies, also several large dams which are used for irrigation and act as a Sanctury for our geese, best of all are the views. The perfect spot for relaxing next to a fire and listening to the Frogs and nightlife and waking to the sounds of kookaburras and bird life, Lots of Rock Wallabies in the evenings and early mornings. Dog friendly, no leads required, portable toilets in the multiple Camp site 1 and an older style toilet in the camping area 2, fresh water available only next to the portable toilets camping area 1. also included is a camp kitchen with fridge, kettle microwave etc for your convenience. Check with host regarding campfires. Group bookings accepted with prior notice to save camping areas. Range of six camping areas. Strictly one vehicle per campsite. Friends can stay together. CAMP 1 allows up to 14 or more campsites to include caravans, motor homes, large or small. tents etc. with flat and slightly flat areas and close to the roadway dead end street. CAMP 2 allows up to eight or more smaller caravans tents rooftops etc also with some flatter areas. CAMP 3 is a private in the bush area and will cater for five or so rooftops tents, difficult for caravans or large vehicles. CAMP 4 smaller possibly two tents or rooftops secluded in the bush. CAMP 5 similar to camp 3 in the bush and completely private great for a get together with friends. CAMP 6 is the very top of the mountain with a long wide strip of cleared area with bush on both sides and a window at the end to the valley below, very private, must be fully contained and would suit most vehicles, may lose traction if pulling a heavy caravan or trailer. The property has six . areas. Capable of around 35 camp sites. Camp 1. Is near the road way, open area, fairly flat and suitable for 15 or more camp sites, suits M Homes, Buses small or large including tents etc. Camp 2 is a smaller relatively flat areas and will cater for 8 or so caravans, campers, tents etc, there is an style drop toilet, clean and tidy and a great view or the large irrigation dams. Camp 3 is an in bush enclosed area, will suit up to 5 camp sites, but tight for caravans, roof tops , tents etc ok. Great for get together woth friends and a short walk to the toilet. Camp 4 also a smaller spot in the bush , suit up to 2 tents or roof tops. Camp 5 very similar to camp 3 and is also a pricate bush site. Camp 6 is the top of the mountain, a long cleared area with trees on both sides and a window to the valley below. Must be self contained and room for 6 or so camps, may loose traction up the hill on loose gravel if towing a heavy caravan. Enjoy your stay.

MT Nellinda Campsites
Joe was such a welcoming host and gave us a few options for campsites that he thought would be most appropriate for our group. Portable toilets were always clean and the camp kitchen was a nice touch of civilisation with a fridge, kettles, microwaves, hot plates and toaster. Joe even drove out to our site at 7:30pm so that we could purchase some of his firewood. The land itself is beautiful with a pond and family of geese + great views of the stars at night.

Take a break and unwind.
We had a wonderful time at Mt Nellinda. Joe was a great host and the sites all had a unique quality to them. Regardless of the type of outdoor adventure you seek, you can find it at Joe’s campsite. This will become our favourite weekend getaway.

MT Nellinda Campsites
5/5
Excellent site overall. We camped in tents in a nice secluded spot at the side of the premises but within easy walking distance to the fresh water supplies and the toilets which were immaculate the entire three nights we stayed. Being dog friendly was excellent as we had two small cavoodles. They loved the land too and were free to play and meet other dogs. There were a few ants in some places so we had to be a little careful where the dogs went, but that was not a big problem for us. Overall we were thrilled with our experience at Joe’s property and would highly recommend for anyone.
