At the foot of the Watagan mountains, close to the Watagan 4WD tracks, picnic areas, and bike tracks. Also close to Lake Macquarie where you will find fishing, boating, kayaking, canoeing etc. About a 20 - 40 min drive to beautiful beaches. Ideal for those wanting to be surrounded by birds, nature and a couple of friendly doggos. Also great for people wanting to try out their new camper, van or tent for the 1st time as we are an easy 1 hour drive north of Sydney on the M1 and close enough to shops for those forgotten items. Also we have unfenced dams, if you are camping with young children please consider carefully and let me know before booking. We have very basic bathroom facilities of 1 flushing toilet in the shed and an outdoor warm shower.

Bunyip's Under the Pine - Primitive
My Partner and I absolutely loved staying here, the views were amazing from our roof top tent and we appreciated the kindness and hospitality from Lisa. I will definitely be staying here again and will be recommending this location to friends and family 👍

Bunyip's Under the Pine - Primitive
We loved camping on Lisa’s land! It was very quiet and beautiful. Lots of space, and the fire pit was perfect. Access to a toilet and a small outdoor shower makes it a great spot for beginner campers :) thank you !

Bunyip's-Moo's Site Primitive Power
A beautiful spot to camp very private. The toilet is very rusty. And the shower well, it was wet. All in all everything served my purpose in passing through one night, and I would go back again. Thank you, Lisa.

Bunyip's HideAway primitive camp
Really great little hidey hole! We felt like we were off free camping, and totally alone. We will definitely go back!

Bunyip's HideAway primitive camp
The place is very quiet and the best thing is that the places are very clean and you can have good company with two dogs that live there and it is overall very pleasant

Bunyip's Under the Pine - Primitive
The campsite was spread wide on a very nice and manicured land. Unable to hear others. A very nice get away, not far from towns. We had the privilege of a guided tour from the two dogs, who are just precious. Sleeping outside our tent at night and keeping guard, to accompany us to the toilet late at night. We will be back, mainly cause my partner and I miss the dogs. Facilities were functioning. Probably would try bringing our own shower next time. The shower was basic and exposed, but had decent hot water.
