We weren't happy about being towed by lincoln in to campsite because of the steepness and very wet boggy track in. I had asked in a message prior to going there what to expect of the road in to camp after it had rained. But did not receive a reply . We did know it was 4x4. Had we been told the road was as bad as if was, we would have cancelled. Also don't think it was campertrailer friendly as we were advised by the host Tracey the sites are not level & are tight. Best suited for people with swags or roof top tents that need less room for set up.

Lovely spot deep into the bush, with a large cleared space, his and hers toilets as well as an enclosed shower area with a manual bag shower. A large undercover area provides lots of communal space for cooking and food prep as well as clean up duties. Several tables and chairs means you can leave some of your own gear at home.

The camp area is right on a small creek that leads into a water hole for swimming (although too cold when we stayed in June). Lewis and Tracey were ideal hosts, helpful when you needed them but let you be when at the campsite.

The track into the campsite is 4WD only and when wet is particularly muddy… deep mud - we had great fun getting our Amarok in and getting our City ute properly dirty!

It’s an ideal place for a multi family stay and we will be back!

A great spot to end our road trip. Tracy and Lincon have been amazing hosts, very welcoming and easy to talk to. The road was muddy so they helped us getting to our site. It was a bit chilly and when we arrived they had already started a massive fire for us. During our stay they checked on us and passed by to drop some more wood and have a chat. The place is amazing, peaceful and so well organised, I can't believe it went through the fire and a flood earlier on in the year. The shower is a stroke of genious. It has lots of space for your belongins, you can adjust its height to suits yours and you can have a hot shower by warming the water on the fire. The 2 drop toilets are nicely built and you have solar lights around all amenities. You can definitely see that Lincon and Tracy put lots of care and effort in creating everything.

This camp is located in a suburb called Number One. How fun is that? Here’s what worked for us. 1. Interesting and picturesque drive. 2. Four sites and thus limited numbers. 3. Surrounded by bush. 4. Shade plus sun. 5. All four sites are positioned parallel to the creek. The water is deep enough for paddling, but only a short 50 metre walk to the two swimming holes. 6. Fire/BBQ area for each site. Our BBQ had a “split” plate which was very handy. i.e. you could cover one half of the campfire and leave the other half “open”. 7. Dedicated fixed table per site. 8. Two large communal fire pits with wood supplied. 9. Two pit toilets, one for boys, one for girls. 10. Bush shower. You could heat the creek water on the communal pit or on your own BBQ, and then use the shower “bucket”. Very clever set up. 10. A common area where you could do food prep if required. 11. A very engaging host. Lincoln could not do enough to help. He and his smiling dog (yes, the dog bares his teeth but it’s like a massive grin) meet you at the gate to drive you to the site (you will need a 4WD). 12. Very few bugs. Here’s what might not suit some. 1. Dogs are allowed. When we were camping, every other group had at least one dog. 2. No reception (good for us!). 3. Sites are within view of other campers. So, you will hear others. 4. There is a gentle slope. You will need to take a moment to position your tent/trailer. 5. The swimming hole is just that, a hole. One is quite deep in some areas, but it is not a big area. So, you will get cool, but you won’t be swimming much. 6. You need to climb down the ladder to get into the swimming hole. It is not safe to jump. You’ll need to lift your dog in. We knew all this when booking so no issues our end. Indeed, Lincoln went out of his way to do anything requested. His place was hit hard by the 2019 fires and he (and Tracey) have had to rebuild. They saved themselves and their pets but lost a lot, including most of what had been previously at the site. They’ve rebuilt almost everything already. We would absolutely go back.

As always, we had a wonderful time at Bedrock Falls and will most certainly be returning. Between lounging in the river, cooking up a storm in one of Lincoln’s many fire pits, stoves or BBQs and chatting with hosts Tracey and Lincoln over a fire, we came home we’ll rested but only wanting more.

Tracey and Lincoln create of lovely and community campground feel. Upon arrival and throughput my stay, I was made to feel really welcome and safe.

The location alongside a riverbed was absolutely gorgeous, and access to the swimming holes - that are underneath a waterfall - was perfect on hot days!

The sites aren't the most private but the amenities, including the gorgeously crafted large firepits, toilets, shower and bar make up for that.

Freddy, the Jug puppy, will miss seeing Lincoln in the evenings!

Fantastic campsite. Tracey and Lincoln have created a beautiful and welcoming home away from home with a great communal area to enjoy. Each site is along the creek and you can set up so you're barely aware of anyone around you. The swimming hole is something really special. Tracey was great answering any of our questions in the leadup to our trip, and Lincoln took the time to show us around and have a chat which we really appreciated. Great for dogs too, ours are happily exhausted after splashing through the creek for days. We'll be back for sure.

We had a great time at Bedrock Falls Farm Stay. Our host was super friendly and our campsite was lovely. The sites are positioned beside a creek which sounds amazing at night and there is swim hole nearby to keep you cool during the day.
