Susan went out of her way to accommodate a Conservation Crew I supervise. They were very satisfied with their stay.

Great site is very secure by its isolation from the road. Face your door East. Easy tank fill and 15Amp hookups closeby. Quiet location. Easy 30m commute into Albequerque.

Cannot recommend Susan's Hipcamp location more! Placitas is a cute little town, not too far from Albuquerque and Santa Fe, so you have all of your typical shopping options available, not far away. BUT...Susan's property is also away from it all, super quiet, very peaceful with hiking and views for days! We stayed at Susan's for about a week and a half in our motorhome and were so sad to leave. She directed us on a fun 20 minute hike to see nearby petroglyphs and other nearby hiking areas. Susan is great to talk with and has been in the area for years, so she knows all the ins/outs. She was easy to communicate with, but left us alone to enjoy the quiet with privacy as well. If/when we are in the area, we wouldn't hesitate to stay with Susan again!!

Flowers around the camping site. View from the site of the moon coming out. Very dog friendly spot with great walking/hiking opportunities. Very private spot, HUGE open skies.

I had a great experience tent camping on Susan's land! The views were beautiful and she was very communicative throughout. She helped me get to the airport after my stay as well. Would definitely recommend!

Peaceful, beautiful, private. This was the perfect little getaway for my wife and I. Susan greeted me upon my arrival and helped with parking and exiting suggestions. I brought my 24 ft TT and felt comfortable maneuvering through the area. Water and electricity was provided but I also used my generator mainly for AC in our TT to cool after a warm afternoon since outlet was 15 amp. We grilled one day then tried the Cafe and brewery the next which was only down the the hill. We also spent a late afternoon/evening enjoying the views, watching the lightning and took-in the fresh air from the monsoon under our canopy on her property.

Thank you again Susan for sharing your beautiful piece of land and we hope to come back again for another relaxing getaway, take care.
