Back again for a second year! Enjoyed the hike to Moutain Pond. We scheduled both trips during the new moon so we could take in the Milky Way and several planets; highly recommended. The folliage was also top notch, just like Justin!
My wife enjoyed our relaxing night away. The location is very remote and peaceful. The bed is conformable and the wood stove works very well. We plan to return with our daughter for a family outing.
INCREDIBLE. Peaceful, and secluded. Beautifully crafted yurt with comfortable furnishings. Nice grill. So cozy! Heard owls and coyotes, saw a Luna moth and SO many birds.
This was our longest stay and it just keeps getting better each time. Always a new adventure. The host Justin is awesome and makes us feel like this is our little piece of paradise. Yurt was amazing again. We had both sunshine 🌞 and rain⛈, which was much needed. We are already looking forward to our next adventure at Toad Hill.
Loved the area and amazing construction of the yurt. However, I would be more prepared to do some cleaning should I visit again. There are mice visiting and the floor needs a good mopping. Yes there are drawbacks to being in the woods. The outhouse was the biggest letdown. It was full to the near top. I cleaned the area but couldn’t bring myself to use it. Glad I had my own bucket. It may sound bad but it wasn’t all bad. We really enjoyed being in nature . We have this at home too but it’s nice to see new places.
