Our property is located in the heart of Conway and all the Mount Washington Valley has to offer. We are about a mile walk from the Saco river and the same for Conway Lake. We have a Canoe Company on site that is run all summer, and highly recommend our campers utilize the rentals. We have small pop up events like live music, farmers markets, and craft fairs in the back yard, so if that is something of interest inquire with us for what days we will be hosting. We also have a Yoga teacher on site willing to teach private yoga classes to all who desire them. Learn more about this land: A Big field with a fire ring in the middle. The hosts were kind and welcoming when we arrived. However, the space is not worth the money and the posting contains inaccurate information. The posting stated that the water is potable, but I was told by employees that they would never drink the water from the shop and after looking at the faucet at the back of the car mechanic space I agree it would be unsafe to drink. There is no hot shower despite the note in the listing. The shower is located in the mechanic space. There is no privacy, the shower was filthy, and the hot water does not work. The camping space in the field is fine, but unfortunately there is dog poop throughout the field and you need to be vigilant as you walk around to avoid the mess. We wanted to do a fire, but felt uncomfortable with our child near the fire pit because of the rusty nails, metal scraps, and other debris in the communal fire pit.

Had a great experience with our stay Bond and his wife were very welcoming. They were easily available to us if we needed help or advice and would definitely stay there again.

Don't go here for privacy
If you are looking for privacy it's not here, the people were nice but it just wasn't a place for us. When we pulled up there was cars where we were supposed to be "camping" it's right behind a house basically on a main road. We weren't looking forward to waking up at 7 to be greeted by 30 different cars or have others less then 20 feet from us.

Confusing and without enough info
You just can't figure out where anything is, even the Campsite is like you are not sure you are in the right place, the same goes for the bathroom, a map or a sign for the bathroom would be nice

Nice backyard field with a fire ring and a picnic table. There is a rustic bathroom with running water, in the outbuildings behind the house. Bond and his dog were nice and friendly, not overly so. We had a nice camping experience overall.

An experience
This trip was one for the books for sure. In my opinion, the ad for this campsite was very misleading. Yes you are near the saco, it’s about a half mile from camp and it’s a little confusing on how to get there. The biggest thing that threw me through a loop is how you are literally camping in someone’s back yard. There is a communal camp fire so you don’t really get your own space. There was another couple staying in the yard with us on the first night and they were nice but it just wasn’t what i had expected at all because it’s not written on the ad that it’s a communal camp ground as well as fire pit. The next thing was the quiet down hours, on the ad it’s stated that they start at 10pm. This is completely false, me and my group could hear the owner and his friends laughing and joking by the communal fire until 3AM. I was so confused and it was a little off putting. This all happened the first day. The next day had its own set of issues. If you’re looking for a rafting and camping trip that’s communal and that type of environment then this is the place. But that is not what’s advertised. Continuing on, the next day me and my group were approached by the owners wife and encouraged to go rafting which we gladly took part in. I paid $150 for 4 adult rafts and 1 cooler raft. We got on the river and my friend ended up injuring herself and i had to call 911 and get her off the river. After calling 911, i proceeded to call the rafting company a total of 15 times and no answer. Finally the owners wife picked up and said she would send someone to pick up the rafts and me and my friend who had stayed with the rafts. We were on the river for less than 30 mins, it’s supposed to be a 4 hour trip. we were not asked if we wanted a refund, we weren’t even approached by the owner at all after that. His wife came by when we all got back from the hospital to make sure we were okay. We left the next day. I think over all this site is very misleading and i think others should know what there actually is to offer. Also, i want a refund on my rafting trip. happy camping!
