*Mountain site with full service gear/food transport via ATV included in pricing. Camp up on a mountain with amazing views and have all the amenities of camping out of your car.

Camp with your group of up to 12 people at our private Farm/Recreation/Ski area. Established in 2004, we are a 75 Acre ATFS certified Tree Farm located in the Blue Hills Range in the Foothills to NH’s white mountains. Our Farm spans the northerly side of Hussey Mountain from the base to the summit. Guests are provided with private access to several miles of maintained multi-use recreational trails, four scenic lookouts on and around the mountain’s summit, a three acre PYO blueberry maze, and a eight acre spring-fed private pond with a dock and floating swimming platform.

(Site 4 Camp Ledgewood) is a hike/bike-in tent campsite nestled within a series of moss covered ledge outcroppings at approximately 1000’ above sea level. A mixed hardwood/softwood forest provides shelter from both weather elements and the sun. A break in the trees over rocks to the front of the site provides beautiful easterly mountain views across NH into ME and of sunrise.

The site is equipped with four well spaced level areas that will easily fit six-person tents. A custom wood picnic table plus a bar and two benches made from snowboards, all of which are mounted to tree stumps. A trash can, a large granite firepit with a built-in grill, pots/pans/cooking utensils, 28 gallons of potable water in containers with spigots to wash dishes/hands/drink, benches around the fire to seat 12, folding camping chairs, and horseshoes. A private outhouse and forest basketball court are a short walk out of the site. For folks camping in a group who may want privacy, a private tent area is nearby in a natural clearing. The clearing also serves well for lying on a blanket under the stars or in the sun.

*Services applicable to the site include... Free gear/food transport via ATV and trash removal. Berry picking in season is free for camping guests and includes blackberries, raspberries, low/highbush blueberries.

* At the base of the mountain (Site1 Basecamp) power, water, an outdoor shower, and a portable toilet are available to camping guests when the site isn’t booked or booked in conjunction with (Site 4 Camp Ledgewood)

*Things to do at the farm include...

SPRING-FALL... Hiking/mountain biking on several miles of maintained trails marked with clear signage for easy day/night navigation. Relaxing/taking in the scenery from four separate lookouts located on and around the mountain’s summit; combined they provide a 360-degree view spanning from the NH/ME Seacoast to the White Mountains of NH, to the Green Mountains of VT.  Fishing, paddling, swimming, relaxing on our dock or floating swimming platform at our private 8-acre spring-fed pond. Bird/wildlife watching, berry picking, stargazing and leaf peeping; this is a place you can easily spend a few days and keep busy!

WINTER... We offer the only private ski area in New England accessed by either uphill travel or snowmobile lift service. With snow, our unique network of forestry trails and glades are transformed into downhill ski/snowboard runs, snowshoe routes, and fatbike trails.

That said, if you’re looking to venture off-mountain and explore we’re in a great area to do that. We’re located only 7 minutes off Exit 14, NH Route 16 N.

*Places to visit nearby include...

Baxter lake (public access) 5 minutes south. Portsmouth 25 minutes south. Lake Winnipesaukee 20 minutes north. Gunstock mountain resort 30 minutes north. NH’s White Mountains 40 minutes north. Conway 1 hour north.

Amazing! We arrived on a beautiful, chilly fall day with 3 small kids and were welcomes with open arms. Eben was accommodating, informative and took us in like we were family. The accommodations were nothing shy of the most well thought out camp site we have ever seen. Without a doubt we would come back and are so thankful to have come across such a gem! Thank you for your hospitality and sharing this experience with us!

Great site with an awesome view. Good wind cover, necessities provided by the host, and easy access to outhouse, parking, pond, etc. we rented both Ledewood and Base Camp which was a short but legit uphill hike. A great way to get privacy in a beautiful place. Hope to be back!

Ledgewood site was amazing! I highly reccommend staying here, you won't be dissapointed! Eben was a great host and was very welcoming to the 4 of us that stayed this weekend! I definitely plan to stay in touch with him, and plan to visit again. He showed us that he cares deeply for his land, the need to keep it natural, and treating it with respect, which I appreciate greatly! His brother, Abe, who owns the neighboring farm, was also a great host when we visited. He has a vast love for gardening, and has grand plans for the future of his farm. I highly suggest visiting. We were also lucky enough to meet Eben and Abe's father, John, who was also very welcoming.
Everyone in our group had a blast, and would definitely reccommend to anyone who loves camping, nature, and a little adventure! Thanks again, Eben!

Everything about our visit to Hussey Mtn Tree Farm was amazing. Eben was super friendly and accommodating and has put a ton of care into the camping sites and entire property. Ledgewood site has great view, plenty of space, comes pre stocked with most of the essentials, and has cool little touches to make it fun. We hiked, canoed, swam, explored the neighboring farm, did yoga and hung out at the site, it was all top notch. Eben hauled our gear up and down from the site, got us familiar with the property and had good tips and recommendations all around. I would advise to access the site and maneuver the property in general is an intermediate level hike. Totally recommend it all!

Really enjoyed our stay at Hussey Mountain Tree Farm (Ledgewood site) with my group of 6 adults and 5 children. The hike up to the site is steep, but doable for active people. It’s a nice setup for camping and the views are beautiful. We also enjoyed hiking up to the summit and padding around on the pond. Eben was an excellent host and made us feel at home.

This is the best campsite! The view off the mountain was beautiful, there were hammocks and string lights surrounding a really comfortable and private campsite. It felt like we had an entire mountain to ourselves! The host, Eben was really friendly and helped us out with multiple trips with gear which we really appreciated.

My stay at Eben's camp was an adventure to say the least. Besides Eben's generous hospitality and communication, our stay was secluded, peaceful, and a blast! Eben took all our stuff up the mountain and we hiked to our site, which was a life saver ( I recommend bringing hiking boots)
Contacting Eben ahead of the reservation is a must If you want him to take dry firewood provided by a nearby farm up (added cost for firewood) and or any other add on!
Eben's site was well stocked and well thought out he provides drinking water and all the tools you may need while cooking, cleaning, and/or chopping wood.
My group had a blast and my pup enjoyed the mountains freedom and all the exploring!
Eben also graciously gifted us with fresh onions on our check out!
