I brought my son here and we both had a great time. The 30 amp hookup allowed us to stay warm in the late fall. We hiked and had the whole srea to ourselves. We went to the farm and had a tour - my son loved the throwing knives and hatchets. The bathrooms were clean. The site was well maintained. We'd love to come back.

Eben is a wonderful host - extremely communicative and flexible during the booking process and warm and welcoming upon arrival. He has a gorgeous property with great hiking trails, awesome views, and a peaceful and very well supplied base camp. We loved our time and would love to return!

We stayed at the base camp (site 1) for 3 nights. Arrival was smooth, hosts were very communicative leading up to and throughout our stay. We felt very welcomed. It is a quiet, breathtaking spot - we also reserved the boat and dock (definitely worth it!) and enjoyed the trails around the property. We have a small RV, but did use the porta-potty (very clean!) and outdoor solar shower (great set up!) Verizon works excellent if you require signal for work (as I did). Don’t pass up this unique camping experience!

Had a great time! Host Eben was very welcoming and accommodating. Had 30 amp service and water. Had some vigorous hikes up the mountain with our dogs. The scenery was beautiful. We were able to watch a neighbors fireworks show over the pond. Would highly recommend.

Really couldn’t recommend this site or host enough. Everything is as advertised, and just really perfect for a group, couple, etc looking for an outdoor trip with amenities. Eben was gracious, helpful, and just a fun guy to be around. Our RV hookup, which he took care of, was seem less. Plenty of good tent sites and easy access to the woods and town. Hope to be back!

Great place, and Eben has rigged up gear brilliantly. Plenty of place to park an RV or multiple tents. As the name suggests, a true base camp.

This property is just amazing! I got the pleasure of having the whole camp to ourselves during the week. Eben is so welcoming and has set up an amazing space on this mountain. The Mountain View Farm was the best experience. I highly recommend the stay here. The kayaks and boat was ready to go for us and the area was gorgeous. It is isolated to enjoy nature but not too far from the store if you need something. The hiking is pretty challenging for a Florida girl but views are near 360 and just breathtaking. I'd love a tiny ladder on the floating platform but really highly recommend staying at this gorgeous camp.

10/10 camping experience - Hussey Mountain is a real treasure. Easy to locate, we stayed at the “base camp” site and it was perfect for our needs - toilet, shower, grill.. even a little shady patch for our tent. Eben was so welcoming, communicative, and he made navigating the mountain a breeze. There’s so much to experience here - 360 degree views of surrounding mountain ranges, pick your own blueberry bushes, a swimmable pond, and plenty of trails for exploring. The biodiversity of the wildlife alone is worth the visit. We can’t wait to make it back!
