Description
The smaller of the two campgrounds in Rye Patch State Recreation Area, River Campground is located right below the dam of the 22-mile-long reservoir. When the reservoir is full, you’ve got more than 11,000 acres to swim, fish, and paddle in, along with 72 miles of shoreline for exploring. Spend your days adventuring, playing volleyball or horseshoes, or just relaxing. When the sun sets, you can fall asleep listening to the roar of the dammed river, and then wake up and do it all again.
