Description
Kershaw-Ryan Campground sits in scenic Rainbow Canyon. The canyon features steep canyon walls that tower 700-feet over the valley below. The campground can be quite hot in the summer, so each site features a shade ramada, offering respite from the sun. Hiking through the scenic canyon is very popular, but keep a couple things in mind—stay hydrated and be prepared for flash floods. Still up for it? We thought so!

If you want to visit Rainbow Canyon this is the park to stay at. It is a short drive from Caliente. The campground is flat and open at the base of a canyon. Not a lot of privacy but the best showers ever! .25 cents and worth every penny. There are flush toilets, water, fire grills, covers over the picnic tables, camp host and a little book exchange. We stayed 2 nights
