We are a somewhat remote 20 acre off-grid farm/homestead specializing in raising cashmere goats, with a couple of dairy goats, too. We have two campsites on the place. This site is midway up the hill from the first site, with a view of Wild Bill Mtn through the trees. It's a smaller site, room for only one tent, with a picnic table and outhouse nearby. There is a small fire ring with a good supply of firewood provided. Perfect tree placement for a hammock in the shade close by, too. Our farm is next to National Forest land with miles of hiking and mtn biking available. We are an hour and a half away from Glacier National Park, and about an hour away from Flathead Lake. There are numerous lakes, rivers and streams all within an hour drive from here. Outdoor recreation paradise! The forest service road coming up here is a bit rough, and the road to the campsite is, too. A low slung car can make it with some fancy driving, but SUVs or pickups are the best vehicles to have. Something with a higher clearance than a sedan is good.

Ann is a fantastic host. She greeted us upon arrival and had a big jug of water ready for us at the site. She showed us the composting toilet and introduced us to her dogs. The hiking trail behind the property led up to a spectacular view. Loved our stay.
Wonderful first time hipcamping!
Oh my gosh it was AMAZING. They thought everything out TO A TEE. Everything was top notch and our first e experience. The compost toilets were amazing, the cleared out land, the goats, the sweet protectant dogs, and the stars at night. Ann and John are great hosts and have built a wonderful homestead.
The Pine Needle Farm was a great place to stay. Ann was a great host, she showed me around, introduced her dogs, and left me to myself. It has a nice level tent area, and a clean compost toilet. Would definitely recommend this spot.
First off, Ann is an awesome host! I stayed out there for 3 weeks while waiting to move into an apartment. Personally, I really enjoyed my time there. I had no issues whatsoever. The dogs do occasionally bark at night, but never bothered me (Ann has ear plugs just in case). It is a peaceful place to camp, I would recommend mosquito spray, and possibly a fly trap, but that is expected camping in Montana during the summer. I hiked up the mountain 4-5 times, it’s an easy hike, Plus once I got to the top I had good cell phone service. I will most definitely go back on any given weekend to camp and just get away from town.
The hosts were lovely and the site was beautiful! It was separate from the main house and very private. The farm is reasonably close to Glacier National Park, especially for the price. I would definitely stay again!
Great night sleep
Ann's place is so awesome! Quiet, peaceful, perfect.
Ann is such a sweetheart.
She gave incredible instructions on how to get in. Helped us out with filling out water jug. There's plenty of fire wood already cut and put up in a small enclosure.
The enclosed perimeter fence made us feel really safe too.
Great place and well kept!
Ann was great. We showed up last minute booking and really late at night. Very kind and sweet lady. Was very accommodating to us and the campground was nice well kept. Will stay here again if ever in the area.
What a great spot to stay in your are planing a trip to Glacier NP! During COVID, there is no front country camping in the park, so this worked out great. Just under an hour and a half from the park.
The camp site had everything I needed. Parking spot for my car, flat area to put up my tent, picnic table, and my own compost toilet.
Ann was a great host as well! Showed me around the property, offered water, and gave super specific directions to get to the property. GPS will only get you so far.
