Mount Baldy-Buckhorn Ridge Lookout

With a full catwalk encircling Mt. Baldy-Buckhorn Mountain Lookout, you’re fo’ sho’ gonna wake up (and go to sleep) to insane mountain views! High above the trees you can gaze Rock Candy Mountain and count practically every star in the sky. This car-accessible lookout (high clearance recommended!) is equipped with bunk beds, a propane stove, a heater, and a fridge. A restroom is located nearby, so don’t forget to tote along the TP, as well as your own water, cookware, bedding, and food. Expect a rustically good time; explore Yaak falls just down the road or simply frolic in your skivvies through the forest! At this elevation, the only creatures lookin’ are the elk and eagles.
