Less than 30 miles from the Continental Divide, and 15 from Glacier National Park, Emery Bay Campground sits high in the Rockies. Campsites are nestled along the shoreline of the impressive Hungry Horse Reservoir. While we’re not quite sure it is legal to have this much stunning land, we do know you will enjoy it! Sites offer majestic views of the 27,750 acre lake with drool-worthy mountain peaks as a backdrop. Can you say epic #tentlife pics? This is one of our top 5 campgrounds. There is also plenty of dispersed camping in the area for free. Our private, wooded site had an amazing view over the turquoise waters of the bay and the surrounding forested islands. We haven’t seen a body of water this beautiful since our 2014 road trip that included Banff and Jasper National Parks in Alberta, Canada.
